bring 2 electronic masterminds together in the same studio and you’ll be gifted with a new perspective over what techno sounds like nowadays. super moon, a fresh collaboration between priku and arapu, has chosen liniar for its second appearance on vinyl. side a sets ground for the whole ep, with its incisive kick and raw bassline that carries the dna for the pure blood acid line, a line that carves space for a light infusion of deep sounds. and it’s the percussion that leads the opening on side b, slapped over the outskirts of a labyrinth of industrial samples, to cool down in a slow paced closing cut, filled with hypnotic hi hats and broken drums. expect super moons creations to stomp a dancefloor near you pretty soon!

arapus ever evolving producer skills are once again showcased on his own label, now on its second release. like a meticulous fractal designer, arapu fills the space between the fast paced beats with simple sound structures, interconnected at a subconscious level. to fully understand the beauty of it you have to follow the techy tribal accents from hazard, the 80s’ electronica theme hidden into so doo or no more space’s dark sci-fi soundtrack bassline that would surely put a lot of pressure on the undergrounds soundsystems. liniar 002s sound is definately crafted for those dancefloor moments when the visceral bassline makes way for strobes scattered into the thick atmosphere

back in stock on 25.02.2016 , arapu has maintained a steady flow of releases over the past few years and hes one of the usual suspects in the underground scene. his elegant mixture of housy elements on a techno backbone gained him early support from his peers. successful stints on labels like memoria, crazy jack, motif and mrr led him to confidently start his own outlet. liniar debuts with a three tracker from the man himself.
broken grooves are almost always present in arapus productions and pitfall is no different. with a trippy synth that goes all the way and effected voices to go along, this track rules the night and the whole a side.
two tracks found their way on the b side and their flavour is quite different. escape is a pure deep house gem, and a clear indication of arapus soulful influence. extremely danceable and super uplifting, this track brings the summer back. wasting on the other hand is dark and has a dirty broken tech groove. this track may seem toolish but it s a monster when it hits.
