repress - clara and armand made their first tracks for the retirement of the librarian from their art school in paris. beginning the collaboration which brought them to post a few tracks on soundcloud and a first single «prettiest virgin» in april. the silky and roaring voice of clara mixes perfectly with armand’s drum machine and those 90’s keyboards. hammering with acid bass, the tandem brings us to an «early warp» sound between daniel maloso, black devil disco and ariel pink. «cardan» ep is a journey into a fantasy of america, but also into a world of synthesis where nothing is clear, all our orientations are scrambled. nobody has control. the virgin forget herself, the princess is drowning but the parrot knows everything.

fake3 - florida untitled ist die dritte ausgabe der vom experimentellen künstler cristiano grim herausgegebenen und veröffentlichten zine/compilation.

sie enthält einen vom fotografen stefano lemon kuratierten essay, der die letzten punk-communities in südflorida an berüchtigten orten wie la rosas, churchill s pub, space mountain und the gramps in miami, respectable street in west palm beach, beer punx in fort lauderdale und lozer lounge in pompano beach erkundete.

ergreifende schwarz-weiß-fotografie, die von dem legendären amerikanischen grafiker zach hobbs umgestaltet wurde. hobbs schuf eine ikonoklastische collage, in der sich die eucharistische anbetung mit dem heiligen ritual des moshens paart. ein zeitloser punk ohne geschlecht und rasse, der auf einem bierturm thront, geschützt durch blut, schweiß, ketten und laute gebete, wütet gegen die gentrifizierung.

oráculo records präsentiert sehr selten re-editionen alter projekte, aber dies ist sicherlich eine veröffentlichung, die die aufmerksamkeit eines jeden liebhabers klassischer elektronischer musik verdient. 1988 in köln (deutschland) gegründet, ist impuls records zu einem legendären label geworden, das absolut inspirierend für die kommenden generationen elektronischer body music ist. diese tribut-veröffentlichung enthält eine auswahl der persönlichen projekte (sigbefia fiva / formal defect) der impuls records-gründer aus den jahren 1988 bis 1991, mit größtenteils unveröffentlichten tracks im vinyl-format.
