the spanish techno producer victor vera delivers the second vinyl & digital release on deep breath records. victor vera has published music on labels like intec digital, stereo productions, toolroom, trapez, pornographic recordings, kd music, deeperfect among others.....the original track from victor is -inner call-, the song has strong chords and background vocals making up a serious and compact techno track. miguel lobo (8 bit, moan, cecille, time has change) delivers the first remix with two versions of high quality groove. the second and last remix comes from deep breath & made off who have built a very personal & dark version from the original track -inner call-. the release has early support from: paco osuna, uglh, marco carola, ilario alicante, deltano, dan noel, antony pl, koma, battric & mivu, kevin rangel, matteo pitton, michael rosa & many more...

get real is the new project from legendary producers, green velvet & claude vonstroke. the pair, hailing from chicago and detroit, headed out on the road together for a string of shows at the tail end of 2015. get real was born and vonstroke was soon heading to green velvets chicago studio to work on new music. the result of that trip is the debut get real ep featuring two slices of amazing future funk from two creative giants.

having previously released together on other labels, friends and musical partners tomoki tamura and tuccillo activate a new stage of their relationship with the unveiling of doublet. both a new production moniker and label, doublet will act as a platform for the pair to channel their own music. tomoki and his holic trax label have long been serving up solid house music whilst tuccillo has conjured up numerous chart toppers on labels like 2020vision, visionquest and holic trax. the debut doublet release takes shape as 202, a three track 12inch that blends elements of classic house with future minimalism with the results undoubtedly stylish.

ben cohen is a french dj based in paris. he started to play music at the end of the 90’s and produces undefined house/techno with esoteric references invoking the hazy contours of the ever mystical inner zones. he has released two eps on the french label badance and recently voyage to rahoz on bliq. his first appearance on dba was on the various artists excursion dab019.5.

london-based artist the room below follows 2014’s dba debut (as part of the 015.5 v/a release) with a mixture of classic and experimental house sounds. born in bristol, raised in dorset and residing in the capital, henry keen aka the room below has been djing and collecting vinyl for over 20 years. as soundspecies alongside his brother he was championed by gilles peterson’s worldwide show and london institution cdr. the alias ‘the room below” was coined to coincide with henry’s analogue re-working of close friend paul white’s ‘rapping with’ lp. since then he has maintained this alias for his house and techno composition. they pay homage to the legendary chicago and detroit artists that inspired him back in the 80’s and 90’s.

the phantom is older than you think, both figuratively and literally. his debut on vinyl was on *it s my mike* by the funky force 2 back in 1987 on amanda records. in 1988 he recorded as part of the group the force and recorded *the mission* with the producer powercut. he is probably best known for being one of the main mcs in cult group dynametrix, who released an ep in 1991 and an lp in 1994 called *a measure of force* on kold sweat records. he also appeared on three tracks on the unsung heroes lp *unleashed* as well as appearing with tom dice on *thug killer*.
