mit electric lines hat joe goddard zum ersten mal ein umfassendes kŸnstlerisches portrŠt all seiner musikalischen vorlieben entworfen von house, techno und disco bis hin zu uk-garage, r&b und electro-pop. ich hatte das gefŸhl, dass ich mich erstmals mit herz und seele einem soloalbum widmen wollte. entstanden ist es aus dem blickwinkel eines londoners, der mit der clubkultur aufgewachsen ist und ein sehr bewegtes musikalisches leben in dieser stadt gefŸhrt hat. wie four tet, caribou oder jamie xx kombiniert joe goddard eine unbŠndige lust am experiment mit einem instinktiven gespŸr fŸr den dancefloor und einer liebe fŸr progressive popmusik abseits des mainstreams. mit electric lines untermauert goddard seinen platz an der vordersten front britischer produzenten. neben sŠngerin jess mills hat sich joe goddard zudem den hot chip-kollegen alexis taylor und daniel wilson als gŠste eingeladen.

cd jewel case remastered by manuel gšttsching and released on his own label mg art. inventions for electric guitar is manuel gšttschings first solo album, recorded: july-august 1974. the album was written and performed entirely by gšttsching on electric guitar, hence the title. manuel played his guitar and used a 4 track teac a3340, revox a77 for echoes, wahwah pedal, volume pedal, schaller rotosound and hawaiian steel bar.
