moving to a different city always seems to mark a new time in my life musically. boston has become my new home after living in hartford, ct and new york city before that. the music on this release is a representation of me settling into a new environment. i have slowly realized that the music i make is mostly therapy for myself. it is what i believe that i need to hear at the time in order to be at peace with whatever situation i am in. in that regard, the music is very much who i am.
