the third and final remix package for mathias kadens masterpiece album -studio 10- comes along with two reworks of mathias vakant label mates onur Özer and dewalta. onur Özers >hâre remix<, a massive, bass driven rework for kadens >chazz<, takes the track to a deeper, more jazzy level, until it fades out with a dreamy yet abstract melody after 11 minutes and counting. david koch aka dewalta takes on >ikenga< (an african god of time, success and achievement), which is surely kadens most played track of the album. david maintains the acidic vibe of the original, adds his very own funk and sends the track back to the dance floor.

as someone that wears many hats, including dj, labelowner, producer and radio presenter, anja schneider has certainly been juggling them all very successfully this year. currently on a busy touring schedule in south america celebrating five years of mobilee records, before leaving for the road she also put aside some time to get back in the studio and produce a brand new ep, mobilee072 pushin. whilst she worked on her most recent productions such as ithought and something left with kiki, and also shinkansen with lee van dowski, this time she partnered once again with paul brtschitsch, with whom she co-produced her debut lp beyond the valley in 2008. famed for playing dj-sets that always come with a powerful bass and sexy groove, pushin is the perfect production equivalent of anja schneiders club performance. the title track comes with a soulful vocal, whilst a2 >strong way< is intended as a female interpretation of the same track. meanwhile, b1 >i dont feel anything< takes you on an eery ride with whispered utterances. enjoy!

vibrations is a new label set up by christopher galloway and piers harrison of roots unit. the first release comes from the ever-dependable and very busy mark e, who drops two killer jams for the dancefloor. escape is a bassline driven banger that drops into a hefty loop half-way through – large. the flip, midnight fires, is a more introspective, techno influenced cut, with crazy jazzy drums and swirling synths. we are thinking about early morning dancefloors for this one. escape is also remixed by roots unit, who add chicago house elements within a reggae aesthetic.

recently supporting the aforementioned marina & the diamonds, spark brings a healthy dose of pop to the indie scene, with her dancefloor cuts sparkling in a world full of dour, face to the floor guitar bands. her songs touch base with everyone thats made great pop in recent years - we are hearing splashes of la roux and the ting tings, and all powered along with some wonderful production that chooses subtlety over in-yer-face plug-in hell, unlike most shitty chart toss of the moment. this is a very special single from a big tip for 2011!

the fourth release of >lets get lost< which is started by mule musiq and force of natures kza. this new release is by thomas bullock aka rub n tug/map of africa/welcome stranger. i guess the introduction about him is not necessary. on the a side, thomas edited the disco version of jolene by olivia newtone-john (original is country rock from dolly parton 1974). on the other side,its a rework of >zz top-i wanna drive you home < . this rework is like a thomass original production.you can comparevery easily with map of africa or his another moniker. both tracks are very cool rock oriented disco stuff. dont miss this rare thomas s edit release

its been a while for mr lovebirds and also the label teardrop to serve some fresh slices of homemade house jam. well, we think it better not to put out every bonus beat we program and rather wait until we have something that really deserves to be thrown in todays pool of musical randomness. do we sound bitter again? sorry, for that … must be the age. so … love & happiness. yeah, i want that and probably everybody does … well here ya go: its a slick slow house bomb with proper oldskool 909 drums and some sliding portamento chords that wont never leave your head!! at least until the breakdown when this track takes you even further back in time to that beautiful intro that has rarely been used more beautifully. its been tested for months now by vincenzo, phonique and mr bird himself and devestated every floor so far. let me put it this way - this is biiiig!!!! flipside is the rain - classic 90ies deephouse with a touch of kerri which we all love right? this has the typical lovebirds warmth that we all need in these modern techno times. and in this autumn too. none other than mr steve bug took care of the remix and delivered a superb very 90ies new yorican style version. keeping the warmth he added some percussion to it and turned this into a nice builder. enough talk … we are very excited about this release and looking forward to your full love on this one. play it loud and everywhere!! and maybe even chart it if youre a good lad!!
