at age 18, after flunking all but two classes, coco bryce (ne yoel yair) attempted to take a sabbatical from uni. what was supposed to have been a mere twelve-month orientational period turned into two and a half decades of hard graft, culminating in this here album: city pop. the results are stunning, tho that’s hardly surprising given the fact it took nearly a quarter of a century to finish.
