Eine Reihe weiterer Singles und Remixe für Anjunadeep, Future Classic und Hungry Music haben dazu geführt, dass Ben zu einer tragenden Säule der Flaggschiff-Playlists Electronic und Beatport 100 geworden ist und Bewunderer aus dem gesamten Spektrum der elektronischen Musik anzieht, darunter Stephan Bodzin, Bob Moses und Bori Brejcha, der Ben zu seinem „Durchbruchskünstler des Jahres 2020“ erklärte. "Ethereal" (Billboard) electronic producer Ben Böhmer originally released his sophomore album 'Begin Again' via Anjunadeep on September 21, 2021. The album's release immediately followed his accolade of Best Live [Streamed] Act Award at the AIMs for his performance with Cercle, in what was arguably the most competitive year for live-streamed performances, ahead of artists including Arlo Parks and beabadoobee. In 2021, Ben was also named Spotify's fastest-growing electronic artist with over 60 million streams, and received a plethora of other support from publications including Vogue UA, who called Ben "the new star of the world electronic scene", and key names at radio, including Pete Tong at BBC Radio 1, Anna Lunoe at DanceXL Radio on Apple Music 1 and SiriusXM Chill. 'Begin Again' comprises 11 tracks, including singles 'Beyond Beliefs', 'Escalate' (feat. JONAH), 'Erase' (feat. lau.ra) and 'A Matter of Time', all united by Ben's uniquely sensitive and emotive production style. Perhaps nowhere is this felt more keenly than on 'Home', which, in Ben's own words, is about "having a deep connection to the one you love the most, your soulmate. No matter where in the world you are, they still feel close to you through an unwavering bond. Nothing could ever change that." Following the album announcement, the 'Begin Again' world tour sold over 75,000 tickets across Europe, North America and South America, with Ben performing at iconic festivals such as Glastonbury, Primavera Sound, Life is Beautiful, Awakenings, Lost Village and Sziget to name a few. The album release was accompanied by a special live stream broadcast from the prestigious König Galerie in Berlin, in partnership with Amazon Music. Featuring an all-new live production designed by the team behind James Blake and Tale Of Us live shows, the set was broadcast on Ben's YouTube channel, and has to date, accumulated almost 3 million views. 'Begin Again' was inspired by, and written while Böhmer and his wife were separated on opposite sides of the globe for nine months due to the global travel ban. While this album sees him perfectly portray the longing and uncertainty he and many of us experienced during this specific period, it remains a timeless production.
