jerome derradjis past due records is proud to announce the first part in a reissue series of lee moore�s rarest and meanest boogie funk tracks, originally produced for his labels score records and lm records, circa 1981-85. alien changing times was produced by lee moore and paul zaleski for score records out of memphis. double sided 12inch, it is one of these future funk instrumentals that will light a fire on any dance floor. never reissued before today remastered. rarer than rare and so good!

as with his previous offerings - that have found a home on the likes of red rack�ems smugglers inn, horn wax, ruff draft, plus his co-owned end of label boss imprint � cyclonix continues to explore the deeper and more leftfield spectrum of underground dance music with a futuristic vision. made up of two original tracks, �alien drug store� ep draws on a host of electronic influences ranging from deep house to detroit beatdown, alongside subtle hints of acid house and dub techno, whilst both retain the producers trademark sci-fi aesthetic. the release is completed with a sterling remix of �you�d better not� from a pioneering legend of the uk underground - 4hero�s marc mac, under his nu era guise. heading up the a side is �you�d better not�, a slow-grooving techno cut bolstered by punchy kicks and a rubbery bassline, where foreboding sci-fi vox samples are interspersed with dubbed out chords and crunchy offbeat snares, as the arrangement shifts from one mood to another. the sub-aquatic vibes of �two face� follows, which is set to a hypnotic two chord pattern, 4/4 kicks and a lashing of moody synths that gradually entices you into deeper realms through the aid of rippling hi-hats and rhythmic percussion with a submersed quality. on the flip is marc mac�s nu era take on the 12�s lead cut �you�d better not�, who transforms the menacing original into a blast of uplifting broken techno, where the soulful musicality of sustained strings and piano chords complement snippets of the original�s vocal sample that drifts atop adept drum programming, bouncy synth bass and a flurry of glistening synth melodies.

hans berg and johanna knutsson return to the ufo station with their fourth release, a powerful trippy trip, through warped time and space. and guess who was waiting for them at the station? well,none other than fellow space traveller dungeon acid, who delivers a remix that just might knock your space pants off. the title track alien power is obviously inspired by the quantum fusion core phase shift warp power engine that drives the ufo station, a steady beat to keep you on the right side of the force, whereas the dungeon acid remix is a musical interpretation of the great warp speed interdimensional flux mishap of the year 2216. the track dubby is so named because it inherently describes the core feeling of the track! alien choirs and synched synths meet long delay lines in this dreamy piece.

we are honoured to present the milan-based duo carol consisting of damian and fedex. fedex has been collecting records and dj-ing since the age of 15 when the italian club and rave scene was about to explode. after many years of dj-ing and producing music in italy and germany he found his home in milan by joining the cockette party crew where he expressed his musical versatility and love for dancefloor shaking. damian started out in londons late 90s electroclash scene with the cult electro band damian and the puzzy france and later on approached techno and house as a promoter and dj.

release number four from our latin lair, and this time we are very excited to introduce a mystery project - alien alien with two tracks, black guru and sambaca. alien alien is the shadowy side project of hugo sanchez and rodion who have distilled for us two stone cold cuts of percussive, rolling disco for the dance-floor, backed up with remixes from horse meat discos severino and the heels of love.
