following on from the last dext limited release by otik & dead mans chest we’re kicking off 2019 in fine style with another limited 10” vinyl cut with the same ethos as the previous release’s , 1 rave banger with a killer remix on the flipside. this time we have invited glasgow s party starter and long-time label supporter nightwave to join the crew and it seems like she has been here all along. psychic tonic is exactly what we are all about rolling breakbeats and thunderous kick drums and is the perfect addition to the dext ltd series. and if that s not enough, another of our favourites jerome hill (super rhythm trax) comes along for the ride, and flips it totally on its head on the remix
ltd repress! another new name on the slow life catalogue, the californian turned berliner steve huerta. as the ep name suggest he delivers some fresh-loungy-break jams, plus a dancefloor killer featuring label’s own s.moriera.
the swiss kumquat label counts on its discography with most referential artists from argentina. this time is an honor to edit a mystical collective. pioneers of techno sounds in buenos aires, a group of resident djs and producers that in year ‘94 performed with analogic equipment and started first raves and afterhours throughout the country. so it was born urban groove aggrupation during the rave explosion of the 90’s.
the release starts off with wolfhart, a stripped back groove and exquisitely delayed elements will sure get things going.
next up is ording, named after a city in northeast germany, its dubbed infused chords will take you on an expansive mind trip.
on b side, tschi comes in with some playful hi hats and other wordly sounds that will satisfy the most discerning palates. to round of the ep we get a rework from the master steve o sullivan, which needless to say, needs no introduction.

regal strikes back on involve records with a brand new collaboration, this time with acid head milton bradley a.k.a. alien rain. the record is another piece of the puzzle, where the label boss continues his exploration of the techno universe with the help of artists that inspire him. the 24th release of involve records sees regal and bradley go deep delivering hypnotic 303 basslines and hammering percussions that point directly to the dancefloor, with chopped vocals adding tension to each cut. >acid affair< combines the best of both producers giving birth to a renewed take on acid techno. the two-track ep looks back to the origins of the etiquette, without missing the freshness of both artists’ current sonic approach to club-focused music. one not to miss for quirky sound lovers.
