nice price deal !!! turquoise records debuts its first vinyl release staying true to both worlds of deep house and house music, produced by armando mendes and featuring larissa kapp (freerange, suol, raygun records). also it comes with an amazing remix and dub mix by techno legend oliver kapp (indulge records, logistic records, stockholm ltd). the original mix is very house/balearic oriented with jacking house beat driving bassline and a very catchy vocal arrangement by larissa. on the other side the dub mix is quite pumping as well with the vocal hook, and foggy cinematic lead keys...

armando gallop, the legendary chicago producer & dj whose career was tragically cut short by his death in 1996 left behind a legendary reputation as one of the windy citys finest. having released on seminal labels such as, trax, musique, westbrook and his own warehouse imprint, armando brought his own rough hewn brand of machine funk and acid to the table and the dance music world has been much better off for it since.

land of confusion is one of the most seminal chicago acid house records. originally released in 1987 on bam bam s westbrook imprint and produced by the legendary armando gallop it marked the start of a recording career that would make him a household name among house and techno aficionados. to say land of confusion is raw is an understatement, it consists of a handful of elements but its impact when played is incendiary. armandos tb-303 acid lines sound possessed and unruly while the primitive drum machine patterns stagger around the track giving it a feeling of out of control urgency, a truly lo-fi piece of crazy chicago acid that was popular with many djs in chicago(including ron hardy at the muzic box) and around the world and continues to be influential today. an essential record for any discerning house or techno fan.

2018 repress ,how much do you really know about nina kraviz? shes a russian techno dj, an accomplished producer, one of dance musics breakthrough names of the last five years. true enough, but theres so much more to her story than that. shes one of electronic musics most interesting characters, someone who has stuck to her musical guns since day one, someone who has wide-ranging roots that run deep in the past, yet shes also the embodiment of the future. her signature sound is a raw blend of house and techno with a very acidic feel. if that feels very now, kraviz has a lot to do with it, which is why she was asked to mix the latest instalment of !k7s landmark dj kicks series.
