die musik ist eindeutig an den heavy-jam krautrock der fruehen 70er angelehnt, ueberwiegend episch, spielfreudig und angeheizt von treibenden vintage-fuzz/wahwah-gitarrenriffs und einer massiv marschierenden rhythmussektion. ihre psychedelischen improvisationen von teils weit über zehn minuten lassen auf geschmackvolle art ebenso platz für experimentelle passagen in denen sphaerische orgel / sax / gitarren soundeffekte dominieren, um intensive, originelle und facettenreiche klangbilder zu erzeugen. hier erscheint nun erstmalig das komplette neu zusammengestellte material von spaceship landing inklusive drei bonus tracks mit einer laufzeit von 79.5 min, welches auf authentische art, rein analog produziert und re-mastered wurde.

back in 1995 while living on the west coast, at the peak of the rave experience, dj spun and dhyan moller recorded a bunch of live tracks, without any sequencer, all direct to cassettes. spun aka jason drummond, reached out last spring after rediscovering all the cassettes and asked us if wed be interested in releasing some of the tunes. jason shipped us the cassettes and after a good transferring session, we decided we had to release all the tracks under a 3lp set. this stuff is fire. we still love dj spun and dhyan moller!

radical connector was originally released in 2004 and is now fnally back on vinyl. this re-issue is pressed on mixed splatter color vinyl and presented in a high gloss jacket with free download card. though reference points like daft punk and prince have rightly been thrown around, radical connector is in fact a strange album that doesnt sound like much else. pitchfork

ressort imprint’s fourth output “four cuts on hurting” gets a decent treatment from four well established remixers. pfirter, cassegrain, blind observatory and label head ekserd deliver their own takes - rsi011 therefore is aptly named “more cuts on hurting”.

uk producer allen saei aka aubrey is no stranger to burek family, having already remixed information ghettos -inspiration- track for burek in 2013 and dj stingray s -communication system- track released on barba in 2015. as is to be expected from a guy whos been spending time in the studio for better part of the last three decades, on 13th barba release aubrey delivers a mature and consistent space-themed club 12- titled -space funk-.

it might not always be obvious, but music as escapism can serve as a radical social statement. what some may see as daydreaming or imagination of impossible realities, can constitute a sort of revolution of thought, the seed of a more human and sentient worldview. although on a first listen, high-level basis, it may seem as if the music contained in informa’s 10th release is a series of psychedelic, dystopian and otherworldly tools for escape, it might actually be a proposition for improvement, a route to self-discovery, a reflection on the true nature of our surroundings. although at no point in this release such high concepts are made explicit, there is a consistency in vision and methods present in the art created by the peers that label founder and owner deepbass has selected for this very special, celebratory release. encapsulating the product of eight minds, eight visions, in a common concept for evolution in unity.

the goal with supernova was to look back to the disco era but with a synth heavy and altogether more cosmic twist. alex is a big fun of modern russian classical music composing style. also he was inspired by early english progressive scene (yes, elo etc). this is why u-kas melodic lines are long and not so straight sometimes. and oleg is musically far from academic school and prefers zappa, early german electronic and psychedelic krautrock etc.

in the beginning there was funk. some say it came from another planet, some say it was always here...what we know is that walker barnards has got the funk deep inside of him and with chapter 19 of the serialism adventure we share the journey with you.
