ursprünglich als theater-musik für das anton podbevšek theatre in novo mesto in slovenien konzipiert, basiert -also sprach zarathustra- auf szenen aus friedrich nietzsches gleichnamigen philosophischen roman. für das album wurden passagen mit dem rtv slovenia symphonic orchestra aufgenommen. laibach haben in ihrer 35-jährigen kariere schon mehrfach musik für theater-produktionen eingespielt. so ist beispielsweise auf mute bereits das album -macbeth- erschienen, welches der überarbeitete score für die peter zadek inszenierung am hamburger schauspielhaus darstellt. neben instrumental-stücken sind hier auch titel enthalten, die von rezitation des sängers milan fras und dem gesang von mina Špiler getragen werden. im besten sinne: klassisch laibach!

adballons (made-up word from ”advertising balloon”) was a duo formed in tokyo and active only between 1986-88. equipped with some gear (casio cz-5000, teisco s-110f, roland mc-202, roland tr-909, korg kpr-77) and influenced by the music of d.a.f, kosmonautentraum, tommi stumpff, propaganda, the flowerpot men, cassandra complex, this heat, the pop group, spk and laibach, they released just one 7” in 1987 and played some shows in local clubs before disappear and become part of the obscure and inscrutable japanese underground scene. limited to 270 copies on 10” vinyl including the four original studio. everything remastered from the original reel-to-reel tape. each copy comes with a obi strip, an insert with some photos/lyrics/credits and a numbered card.

neueheimat is joinig the cirque du minimaliste family on its sublabel manege with his debut release *quartier3*. neueheimat was founded near hamburg in 2012 by dennis grell. after working for many years as a commissioned producer and remixer for publishers and labels, dennis wished to start his own, new project and truly realise his creativity. conceptually, the aim is for the music to blend seamlessly with his photographs of urban architecture and to document the anonymity of life within city walls. influenced by artists such as anders trentemøller, jon hopkins, trent reznor and the earlier einstürzende neubauten, dennis began creating his own definition of electronic music. neueheimat and subsequently *quartier3 ep* are characterised by dennis clear style of production: a few lighter passages, but primarily creating a deep and murky impression. large spaces leave room for interpretation and present the listener with images that either they have never seen or have been missing for a long time. created on old analogue equipment, mixed on a 30-year-old tape recorder and mastered by mastering engineer stefan betke (tresor, cabaret voltaire, lucy, laibach), *quartier3* is a significant milestone in dennis production history.
