hot on the heels of their debut collaborative ep, ‘exosphere’ - which picked up plays from violet, tone dropout’s dawl, jacques renault and timothy clerkin among many others - corporeal face and bufobufo are back with new trax that distil their love of electro, hardcore and acid into a lethal compound. lead cut ‘bleep inside’ mixes old school b-boy breaks with a steely sheffield bassline, ‘genome’ is a swung out excursion into sub-heavy acid house, sydney beat machine jensen interceptor turns ‘bleep inside’ into a percolating electro killer, and ‘molecular cloud’ is the explosive 140bpm meeting pointwhere warehouse rave and electro collide.

the sixth yarn release tohuwabohu is like a big meeting of old friends: the leipzig/berlin based duo echoton is rejoining yarn with a splashy welcome and two dope tracks called kladderadatsch and kuddelmuddel – two glommy playful fellows. the guys from roar added an epic 15 minute kladderadatsch remix on b-side with nice guitar riff accents. ending all up in three amazing tracks with this typical minimalistic impulsive yarn sound. yarn records sixth release comes hand stamped in a recycled paper bag. strictly limited to 300 copies.

50 is a nice number of releases to be celebrated in style, that’s why we have cooked up a very special menu for this milestone. as the spirit of the pole group team we have combined everyone’s character on this record. all tracks have been made in common, each of the label foundational members have worked on their own sound parts that in a second process have been assigned randomly to others to work on them, in a creation loop that somehow represented the true essence of the label. you’ll never now who is making what, it’s just oscar mulero, exium and reeko in essence and mixed up. you’ll find no ambient interludes, no anthems, no big breakdowns, every piece in this creation has been designed for the finest dancefloors, rough textures mixed with solid beats and continuous synth lines, techno in its essence made by those who never left the boat in ruff times, pioneers making the soundtrack of the future.

morphology are finnish electro duo matti turunen and michael diekmann. making a welcome return to cpu, a label where their detroit influenced electro and stark dystopian melodies are very much at home.

nice price deal !!! ephemerals debut on helena treats us to three deep originals, offset by a characteristically storming xdb remix on the flip. molecular and cirrus combine gritty textures, half-heard phrases, pulsing bass and cyclical synth and acid lines into the kind of meditative sound experience familiar to fans of plan b or underground quality – but here, and especially on ammonia, overlaid by the distinctly dubby feel of drizzly afternoons spent at ephemeral s home in the midlands. xdb, true to form, grabs the latter track and sticks on some serious afterburners, setting controls for a revved-up voyage across the surface of some distant planet.

after the great success of jerk house connections velvet touch release, stalwart is quite proud to present you its 21st release from one influential member of the infamous broken beat uk combo bugzintheattic: orin walters aka afronaut. orin heard the slam poetry of suheir hammad, a speech about the wheel power not to give up into any extreme ideological, political and/or religious undemocratic system. he craftily joined his minimalist deep groove to emphasize it, giving birth to eye will not, a track that is sure to be noticed in any sets. on the remix treatment, bugzintheattic have been working on their classy broken beat treatment, whereas dj rork has been giving it an infectious hypnotic house touch with an heavy bass, while deep house man of the moment djeff kalukuta relift it for the more south african house music dance floors.
