parisian producer brice groulier has built a reputation as one of the new guard of techno artists to watch closely with consistently high quality sub aquatic, rhythm shifting techno for labels like semantica, midgar, planet rhythm, and modularz. while looking for music that integrated with our grey area releases, we found ourselves blending more von grall tunes than any other artist, so a horo release was requested. what originally began as a 4 track ep bloomed into an 8 track debut album that sees von grall expand his style beyond the muscular but hazy rhythmic mist he has become known for. the title track infinitum opens the lp like a contemplative bubble. hyper density and inside are pensive, evocative jogs, while emerald city and disturbance ramp up the energy and will be the most favoured floor tunes from infinitum. antonym allegory combines the von grall rhythmic bounce with an emotive pad that will echo in your mind long after listening. motel closes the lp with a quirky, almost joyful flow. infinitum wanders confidently into new ground for von grall and cements him as a versatile and singular voice in techno.

“tracking happiness” is a lush piece of esoteric techno that spans over six minutes and showcases von grall’ s artful approach to contemporary eletronics.
“case history” is a percussion laden cut that delicately changes further on with slabs of fx while maintaining it’ s mystic atmosphere. “state of being violin” is a state of the art piece of techno music completed by deep percussion and moments of wild fx. “self portraits” serves as the closing track.

for the mapuches or “people of the earth” the forces of good or “ngnech” - meaning life and construction - opposes the forces of evil or “wekufe”, representing the destruction and death. through their ritual ceremonies, they seek to balance of these two dissimilar energies. the nguillatun, the great ceremony of supplication, is high on all these ceremonies. during the ceremony dances are performed accompanied by various prayers.
this first release, suyai, has 3 tracks from rehue (auca + zedje) emerged from a joint work between madrid and buenos aires. the remix is an incredible work from the french artist, von grall. all the tracks mastered by neel.
midgar welcomes the bordeaux based von grall delivering four dense, immersive cuts. first of the list, *a secant line*, is an acidic and powerful mantra, opening the gates of sonic virtuality. in the second track, *the slope*, fast paced rhythmics and cold ambiances bring some severity to the record. on the bside, the melodic and slightly dreamy excursion *apply the definition*, while *limit value* close the record with a solemn concoction of offbeats drums and mechanic nightbirds.

now into its second year, shipwrecs sub label deep sound channel turns to newcomer von grall and berlin based do not resist the beat label boss milton bradley for a new four track ep. von grall goes first following on from a couple of releases in 2014 on annulled and planet rhythm records as well as on a va 12inch with bas mooy and developer.
the third output for the prrukblk series is a special one. the planet rhythm team came up with an all star line up consisting out of rotterdam techno-stalwart bas mooy, la based modularz head honcho developer, berlin resident p.e.a.r.l.and newcomer von grall. developer opens up the a side with a repetitive quest called clench of fist that lingers on and contains minimal yet powerful changes. berlin based p.e.a.r.l. delivers a somewhat harder effort with ordeal iii bas mooy opens up the b-side with the utterly rugged thorfytt newcomer von grall closes down the 12inch with the mystic under a stone
after emerging in spring, unità psicofisica takes a further step towards exploring music as a matter of perception with its second output, “collisioni sonore”, which widens the already disclosed principles of the label, celebrating the oneness of body and mind. combining the individual efforts of four artists whose musical output lies in the most ritualistic and awareness-expanding side of techno, “collisioni sonore” proves how collision might generate harmony.

in the same way as our nation house series, the concept behind nation techno series is to travel around the world to enlighten the techno scene of each country we visit through an eclectic v/a gathering 8 tracks from 8 artists. our approach is to mix newcomers and already respected producers, and thus bring those different visions of the techno landscape together.
