nice price deal !!! unveiling themselves as oliver caird and if music owner jean-claude of the amalgamation of soundz fame, the formerly anonymous london based dub and bass duo cessa are back with a brilliant 2-tracker on their missing link sounds. on the a side is >nameless<, a lurcher filled with shuffling 2-step rhythms, warm subs and skittering electronics, which builds to reveal a dark kick drum halfway through the track. the flipside is an entirely different affair, hypnotic and overflowing with warm dubby baselines…

cloud corridors is the first release of jan philipp longerich alias processed.sunshine and also the debut on his imprint fertile imagination music, which stands for puristic grooves, deep and dreamy vibes and an all in all raw sound that sticks tight to the original idea of a track. inspired by different formations of clouds and their movements, the record takes the lsistener from huge cloud castles in wolkenburg through cloud corridors down into the dark vibe of the fog. minimalistic drum manchine patterns, deep pads, hypnotic sequences and morphing basslines give the record its warm, lively and feral character. the lp was completely created out of live sessions with analog equipment and each track was recorded in one take. - these bouncing analog grooves are made for after hours in the early morning.

my favourite label out there with the biggest smasher so far…we included the drifter mix in our essential mix but the original tracks are wonderful too. i love this record!!! kristian

2015 brought the trilogy of the dancer to ressort. now the labels core artists each remix their tracks in circles. while all of them aim for the dancefloor, ressorts core artists could not sound more diverse. ekserd and border one aim for the raw, the groovy and the pure while array access and glos lose themselves more and more in sound design and dreaminess. since the many aspects of art and music form a cycle of ying and yang, each artist shows the other an interpretation of what he might have missed before. be it a complete stomper or a light absorbing epos, a deep and groovy house and techno hybrid or a journey into the depths of space every artist made one of the well known tracks released on previous eps his own. it is a very colourful package that bares every moment the label tried to cover in it s series before.
