dutch maestro reimer eising returns with a new lesson in high class braindance electronica for analogical force. just one year on from the inspiring wingtip album on clone records and many (like us) have been looking forward to his new stuff, now the wait is over. alacasa , the result of months of work, sees reimer delving into his unique world of delicate drum patterns, kaleidoscopic synths, 4/4 beats and breaks, acid-tinged melodies, ghostly pads...blah blah blah... kettel has presented us with all of these things before but never with such immaculate care and attention to detail, production and pacing. he has never sounded better and fresher than this. the ep includes a dreamy and evocative remix from swedish hero rolando simmons, pure bliss to get lost in. no more words are needed, you know what to do.

we warmly welcome back kettel who makes his return to clone/dub records since his debut cenny crush 15 years ago (which was followed by the brilliant whisper me wishes in 2007). after a hiatus of 3 years since his last release kettel is releasing his new album on clone records.

the second installment in the split lp series is a dutch affair, but it has everything it needs and more to soon make name far abroad. each side of the record contains a complete work clocking in at about twenty minutes.
side a is >chime ep< by hydrus. the four tracks they contributed stand out because of their meticulous production and their wonderful sense of melody and emotion. this is music in the best electronic tradition, blending hiphop, idm, ambient, funk, drone and badass breaks. hydrus begins this twenty-minute journey with a funky bump and end it in a mess of nervous percussion, splintered to dust.
side b is an altogether positive and quirky piece of work by kettel. like most of his work of the last few years, >yellow baron< is exploding with beautiful melody. in six tracks kettel puts everything to work to make your head bop, to bring a smile to your face and a tear to the corner of your eye. classic stuff, without losing sense of experiment.

ibb and obb is a co-op platform game for playstation network and pc developed by sparpweed and codeglue. the game music has been scored by kettel. the complete score turned out so extensive and unique - we believe it is kettels biggest project in terms of time and effort - that the situational in-game music was reworked to an album for release on cd. the album stands on its own and has every quality youd expect from a kettel album. the context for which kettel has crafted this album makes it a piece of art and something truly special. the result is a definitive must have for all kettel aficionados.
