swiss arrow ist die neueste musikalische inkarnation eines multiinstrumentalisten aus santa fe, new mexico, der als klassisch ausgebildeter musiker und sänger begann. er hat einige bemerkenswerte abzweigungen genommen, die mit seiner erkundung von free jazz und industrial-musik in den frühen 1980er jahren begannen und fortgesetzt wurden, als sein partner ihn in den 1990er jahren mit elektronischer ambient-musik und detroit techno bekannt machte. seit 2010 legt er als lstnr dj-sets auf, zunächst mit seiner intergalactic fm, dream machine show, speak no evil und aktuell als teil des seer-kollektivs.

blood flowers ist ein heavy duty 4-tracker für die freaks. electro, dungeon techno, slinky acid und tribal exkursion - richtig beschädigte party-starter für lowlight-träume und albträume. in den letzten 10 jahren hat mule driver spezielle 808-day-releases gemacht. dieses neueste set ist sein bisher überzeugendstes werk, das von idee zu idee springt, aber eine solide leitlinie aus sci-fi-schrägheit und kollabierenden körperbewegungen beibehält.

ein kurzer besuch auf der indochinesischen halbinsel zur falschen zeit, als die weltweite pandemie ausbrach, führte ian richter zu einem mehr als eineinhalbjährigen aufenthalt in vietnam und zu einer tiefen liebesbeziehung mit der vietnamesischen volksreligion. ian war fasziniert von einem ort voller kultur und mystik, der hand in hand mit dem hyperkapitalismus existiert (obwohl er offiziell dem sozialismus verpflichtet ist).

im laufe der letzten 18 monate hat ian die klänge seiner begegnungen und erfahrungen geistig und körperlich aufgenommen. vom täglichen leben über industrie- und naturlandschaften bis hin zu altem und modernem tanz, wobei er das fremde mit dem vertrauten, die mystik mit der wissenschaft und die klaustrophobie mit der befreiung verband.

ursprünglich 1988 aufgenommen und veröffentlicht. offiziell wurden nur 30 exemplare hergestellt und diese waren schnell ausverkauft. dank illegaler heimaufnahmen erreichte es jedoch hunderte auf der ganzen welt und hinterließ einen wichtigen eindruck in der aufstrebenden industrial szene israels.

ishai adar veröffentlicht seit den 1990er jahren alben mit elektronischer musik. er lernte maurice sarfati im letzten jahrzehnt kennen, als er in einem der mythologischen plattenläden jerusalems, the record house arbeitete.
