our first release for 2015 comes from chicagoan, area. his previous releases on various labels including his own, kimochi, show a producer who spans many genres while maintaining a particular aesthetic. this untethered approach has lead to *one less me* — one of his most moving records to date. area has melded elements from bass music, industrial, electroacoustic, spoken-word and techno into 3 tracks that distill their influences into something greater than the sum of its parts.

up first on okno is the restless naples producer, nplgnn. after vividly capturing our attention with his first release, meccano on nute, nplgnn followed up with his first 12inch release on whereiidance, sigma / tau. nplgnns uniquely straight up analogue dancefloor jams (just check acid ufo) have unsurprisingly been snapped up and played by tastemakers including ben ufo, low jack and mumdance. 2015 is bound to be a top year for this guy, and we are excited to present his first release of the year. 1925 ep delivers three slabs of kickdrum-heavy rhythmic excursions, ranging from the detroit-flavoured 1925 ft deep to 90s inspired ravers are still living. true tackle.

to keep people guessing, the fifth instalment from australia s best selling people must jam label takes things in a house direction with andy ash at the controls. andy has put through an immense ep of varying house flavours to satisfy an all tastes. the ep kicks of with the monster disco vibed hurricane fantasy track. a beautiful summery looper that s sure to keep the floors burning hot! move is one of andy s straight up house cuts - which he is becoming well known for, a deep sounding organ line carrying the track forward with stabs and a nice little vocal sample to boot. mixing things up a little on the flip, our good friend - ron basejam has provided a sublime adriatic excursion remix of move . ron takes the track to a totally different place with uplifting piano lines and orchestral string stabs building to a lovely crescendo. this remix should be earmarked for croatia 2015. finally dommah takes the ep into almost techno territory with building pads and solid beats resulting in a monster track for when the strobelight pulses and the heads go down!

a quest for form which is never static and accompanied by two constants - repetition and reduction. reduction requires repetition in order to make the intangible tangible for man. this repetition also stimulates our perception and helps us find an inner self while illuminating towards the primal thought. another synonym for *intangible* is *not human* - for the most reductive of primal thoughts, sprung from fractal chance, does not deal with human beings but with a formal language that is universal, drawing from the innermost, and only becomes tangible in accidental, fortuitous moments.
