HE BLEEDS STORIES EP (I/Y, ANJA ZAUBE REMIXES) (PINK & BLACK VINYL)
coloured 12" Vinyl NL06.07.18
“he bleeds stories ep” is the first vinyl release on vraaa records, a techno label with the aim of queering-up the genre. both original tracks contains elements from projekt gestalten’s past original productions clashing with new sounds and being incorporated into a whole new context, like pieces of different stories scattered throughout the music and reconfigured into a brand new tale. each track was remixed by projects with contrasting gender identities: the heavyweight techno duo i/y, representing the masculine side and the fabulous german selector anja zaube, giving a feminine perspective. pressing on pink & black mixed vinyl.
staub comes back on wax for a third episode. following the no name policy from the parties which started 5 years ago in ://about blank, it is time again for unknown artist to shine. this new ep sees the shy producer appearing on 4 tracks of pristine techno. a1 is an atmospheric trip while a2 is more brutal, on the b side it is going weirder and darker. we think unknown artist tries to craft interesting techno cuts and that he loves variety. that it is the idea behind staub since its beginnings, it does not matter whether you are a newcomer or lady gaga, what matters is the quality of the music. this is what was again aimed with this third record.
vinyl comes with limited edition artwork by exc artist collective (high quality print)

the white house is announcing the ban of i/y008, the first official ban concerning an alternate techno record in the history of the united states. i am honored to see my husband protecting our children and serving my country, and i look forward to banning more music on behalf of the american people over the coming years, the first lady said. from climate change to aliens to personal investments and to music, we are keeping our promises in methodically overturning regulations and sounds adopted by reptilians.” the impeachment of alternate artists is expected to gain massive support from the country scene for up to two years, 542 people would be directly related to the issue. • i/y008 consists of 4 tracks by the i/y duo, and reportedly destroyed the ears and minds of our white house press secretary and president. as a candidate, mr. president said i am going to bring back the music and melodies that have been stripped away from you, the people. this starts now.
the staub conspiracy. i am a shape-shifting reptilian alien. my kind controls the planet earth by taking on human form and gaining political power to manipulate human societies. if you don t believe me, i suggest you do some research on youtube. there you will find undeniable and overwhelming evidence. but hey, maybe you ll still doubt it later... what can i say? the human eye is too primitive to perceive the blunt truth, it is far easier to completely bend reality than accept what is in front of you. why am i talking to you? well, i just realized it does not really matter if we infiltrate television, governments or even your minds-eye. the world will be ending soon and the only thing that still matters is to dance. that is why i ll do techno. before you all get abducted, and all that is left is dust.
berlin-based dj and techno producer savas pascalidis has been steadily making his mark in underground electronic music circles since his first releases in the mid-90s. born in south germany and later moved to berlin, the well-traveled dj has been among the restless and classically minded members of the dance music community over the last decades. he developed skills that led him into producing records and made a name for himself with a series of dark, loopy and groove driven dancefloor orientated techno music. pure and simple. his releases earned him a reputation for being something of a dance music purist.
dotwav returns to their own konflkt imprint with insanity. both i/y and cadency aka hector oaks reshape the originals into individual sound concepts rounding off a complex four-track ep.
heading straight towards peak time insanity sets the pace. the raw yet punchy destination that follows on from a hypnotic synth exploration receives a deep tripped-out remix treatment from berlin-based duo i/y. distance ventures into an emotive dimension that channels melancholy and anticipation into a compelling techno ballad. charging the b-side with urgent heat, cadency transforms dotwav s composition into a sustained power house for the floor.
that night, we answered a regular call, something about crazy loud noises coming out from a basement. while driving to the area all i could think when i first heard the bass stomping was: “man, whatever, this doesn t even sound like music to me.” and we were at least a 100 meter away from the source of the sound. when we got there, after knocking several times on the door, we decided we had more than enough probable causes to bust in. after a warning, we kicked the door open. what we saw inside was a five feet tall woman jumping around in that cacophony. we screamed and she ignored us, my colleague then panicked and shot her with his taser several times – she then simply pulled the probes out of her body shouting moments moments – and continued to jump around..
ryc continues a global showcase of techno cities. reunited for a second time, the finest talents of berlin and paris put their heavyweight tracks on vinyl. two parisians equally infamous in the techno scene, anetha and françois x, bring unique vigor and subtle mystery to this split ep while the accurate brutality of i/y and furious drums of abayomi represent berlins offerings.
a man in texas was reportedly seen jumping onto moving cars and running around with his tongue out, convinced his life was in danger. authorities first attributed the man s behavior to the fact that he was high on medical weed, but later found out he had discovered a record in the middle of his backyard inside a small crater. backyard aliens - burial grounds. i/y 006, silver vinyl 12“
first strike has a dreamy feel to it, kind of like a ride on a horse under the moonlight. it just so happens that the animal is actually on steroids. fifth release on i/y. color vinyl. brutal cuts by tempre. enjoy!
once again krill music takes command of the shuttle towards another sonic dimension, a complicated journey to the limits of sound where mesmerising melodies act like the songs of sirens, through obscure and dense jungle foliage where the sunlight is rare and the night reigns. so with seat-belts fastened, onto the latest release...

the second release of inkblots involves three great artists deeply active into the international techno scene: the japanese go hiyama and the berlin based duo i/y. on side a, go hiyama’s first track ‘recur’ delivers sinister atmospheres matched with a tough kick and industrial bleepy elements. slow and paranoic drones get in and out contributing to enlarge the sound perception. the second track ‘prop’ introduces elegant hi-hats and strident synths. a captivating kick perfectly embraces the shrill synths waving together with the sharp drum, what remains of the first side is just tense ambients, forewarning the journey is not over. side b smells like a dark club firing up, indeed i/y’s aim is not different at all. ’thesys 0000.001’ debuts with a thin bassline and distorted grave surroundings. the track evolves with clean slap hats sound in an empty echo chamber. deep timbres rise and fall, turning the entire route gently aggressive. the second track is an idm experiment which keeps a trippy approach and the clarity of claps and hi-hats. solid as the first one, ‘thesys 0000.003’ sets itself as an hypnotic but pleasant moment where suspicious fragments quickly appear and disappear: a sparkled trip to be enjoyed anytime but not by anyone.
responsible for organizing the moments event series throughout berlin, i/y is releasing an ep celebrating their collaboration with all the artists who performed and adhered to the moment s concept in the last few years. releasing music from everyone was impossible, but the 4 tracks produced by voiski, blind observatory, schloss mirabell, and i/y give a solid idea of what moments is about.
fracture is a new label which aims to release quality music on a medium we care about. this is why we chose to work with choosing matt colton from alchemy mastering, and also why we decided to put only one track per side of a 180 gr. vinyl. this first release features two artists we love : i/y and tripeo. for their first real incursion on another label, i/y continues its exploration of the abyss of modern music. 0000.030 is a deep plunge into a paranoid atmosphere led by merciless beats.tripeo takes it into a jacking excursion accompanied by noisy and acidic elements. while maintaining the originals ruthless vibe, this remix offers a different aggression and gives the track a groovy psychedelic feel
rsvd kicks off with this blue knife ep by its main korova. blow out track reflects the full mentality of the label and comes with a thrilling tension stepping aside a bursting obscure dark progression and sinister heavy beats. alien blood is and ufo-like deadly bassline invasion drawing a dark strong hurting texture. deep waters original mix is a playful floor-killer techno jacking track. tsunami rocking upon and over the surface. its iys remix is fine rich and dry both mental dark stomping and odd hard hitting one: simple unique. a new excellent proof for the italian duo made by fusaroli and filardo.
call it whatever you want. we think of it simply as techno music. deep, raw, mystical and industrialesque music that makes you think about your desires and gives you the illusion of clearing away time and space. having lived in almost all corners of the world, it took nothing more than finding themselves in berlin, a dose of random chance and a barside conversation for irakli and yacoub to figure out they had similar views about music - and so, i/y was born. i/y 001 is a three track intense journey into the depths of techno.
ressort imprint comes up with the second v/a to celebrate the tenth release entitled more cuts on loving part ii. this release comes with a deeper touch to it than the first, much heavier v/a. music crafted by friends for friends - a truly heartwarming story.
