es ist ja nun schon einige zeit her, dass paul kalkbrenner eine single veröffentlicht hat. vier jahre nach dem letzten 12inch release und zwei erfolgreichen alben (berlin calling mit platinstatus und icke wieder mit goldstatus) erscheint mit >das gezabel< eine brandneue single auf seinem eigenen label paul kalkbrenner musik. insbesondere bei den livekonzerten überall in europa wurde paul die nachfrage nach neuer musik immer wieder angetragen. musikalisch macht der neue titel da weiter, wo das >icke wieder< album endete. >das gezabel< ist ein rein instrumentaler elektronischer clubtrack, bei dem paul kalkbrenner wieder einmal die verschmelzung seiner fast schon klassischen beats mit eleganten melodieelementen gelingt.
