it is a cold dark winter – snow is lying everywhere. simon12345 and the lazer twins are heading up north into a little wooden house in the northern parts of denmark. they will live there for the next weeks and build up a temporary studio in this secluded cottage. simon has got a handful of sketches with him. musical states of mind and conceptual games he developed over the last years. basically the idea is to develop something truly unique and powerful – although none of them knows how that will sound exactly or what will happen in particular during this time. it is not even clear who plays which instrument, who will do what…nothing is set. the only thing clear is that they have things to say, things that have been burning in them for so long now. tell me. how can (mostly) instrumental music suggest a way of life? how can you criticize without pointing at something particular? how can music transport you into place of quietness and self reflection?
the album is inspired by the music of eric dolphy and john coltrane, indian raga and african polyritmic structures and evolves around the story of paddy roy bates, a british major and pirate radio broadcaster, who founded the micro nation principality of sealand two months after the death of coltrane
first ep of hamburg-based psychedelic voodoohop dada-pop superduo for doumen records. on+brr are known for releases on felix kubins gagarin records, martin hossbach label, hafenschlamm/freiheit&roosen as well as for their more than intense live performances in places like berghain, nation of gondwana, fusion, golden pudel etc. and last but not least for their kraniche b.d. elbbrücken club, which is fueling the scene in hamburg with their very own take on how a performance space should be like for more than two years now already and it might well be the most crazy & cozy place you will find in hamburg right now. to round everything off nicely, artwork was done by cheap art pioneer and close on+brr friend patrick farzar. a must have to show off at your next afterhour gig as well as to impress your artist friends when having them over for tea

praezisa rapid 3000 are robert guschel, david junghans and henrik jacobsen. coming from different styles of music they found each other to start making music. loving techno, drum & bass, dubstep and indie they created the praezisa-sound: complex, harmonic, organic, which eradiates quickness through native instruments. in doing so there is much humor in this supposed to be earnest music. this ep tries to depict the spectrum of what the three guys love: from bass-music to easy listening – and house: good guy mikesh & filburt, known through releases on permanent vacation, liebe*detail and mirau give the debut of praezisa rapid 3000 a remix.
