the original mix of tape replay is nearly nine minutes long and can only be described as a journey. its the perfect transition track, able to turn minimal sets into future disco, a house set into electro-funk, a techno set into a live jam-a-thon or a rigid set of any kind (like too many these days) into something with emotional depth. for remix duties we have enlisted our favorite producers will saul & tam cooper from simple records. much like their tech-house revision of phoniques bang, recently released on dessous, here on fresh meat they have put together a subtle yet bassy response to the wow & flutter original. the track builds and builds and at about three fourths through it explodes with lush keys, rich pads and a breakdown thats executed perfectly. these gents are on point and we are more than excited to have them along for the trip.

this time we ve taken a trip to israël where deep a & vek are from. these two youngsters produce deep and hypnotising minimal that is hugely inspired by heroes like chaim or guy gerber. they gave us three tracks that each and every one are a story on itself. all tracks take their time to build up to a climax and bubble out into soundscaped synth lines and carefully constructed melodies, aiming not only on the mind, but also at your feet.

the p-posse cracks two more tunes and turn them into propelling dancefloor tunes. starting with a special trip the a-side pulls a well known rock formation back into the underground. this will amuse you for sure. the flip should definitly ring some bells. the biggest smasher from techno legend mills gets a rerub and is injected with some rollin funk

first single from the stunning hunterville long player from rodney hunter. guest remixes by the neighbouring germans adds to the rightfully expected release on this 12inch. man of the moment christian prommer takes wanna groove on the more gentle percussion trip at first that simply builds and builds into a classic education process. elegant programming as you would come to expect from voom voom/fauna flash/trüby trio team member. it ends at just over ten minutes but the ride spanned a minor evolution in techno terms. wahoo boys, aka georg levin & steffen berkhahn bring back some of the bounce and shuffle and a tambourine shake or two. again, these guys know a thing or two about moving feet and hips and making people heat up their body temperatures.

a perfect example for the second category is the lnz013 track rezolution. even though limited on 500 white label copies, this hypnotic minimal trip became an incredible public success over the last two months. not only, but especially on ibiza, the feos & miroir production is regularly spinned by all important tech house djs. not set the dance floor alight or keep it ablaze with rezolution is a big faux pas the party crowd hardly could accept. due to the overwhelming demand for the lnz013 (and the fact that its sold out mostly everywhere) the label decided to press a second edition of this legendary tune. unlike the tria track of the limited vinyl, the flipside comes with a re-edit version of rezolution, produced by pascal feos studio mate chris wood. extended to 8.30 minutes of playtime, he retained all stunning sound elements of the original, re-arranged them, gave great new accents and lifted the track cleverly up to an even higher, minimal house energetic level. thats why we dont call it a b-, but aa-side track
