who said that there is no techno in bavaria? not only the bavarian based label itself as a kind of lighthouse for the more energetic sounds deep in the bavarian heart is a proof, also the young and crazy dirty basscore is emerging from there with his very own, unique, freaked out, crazy, uncomprimising style. compared to his outlets so far this one might not be the craziest and freaked out stuff he did, but for sure this is a massive debut and introduction of his trademark and unlimited talent here on credo. perfectly timed and playable tunes with only one goal: working on the dancefloor! and as this wouldnt be enough we even top it with an excellent repaint by another bavarian techno-stallion. klaudia gawlas, who probably doesn t need any introduction, delivered a superb interpretation of the titletrack.

schuko ep is the second release from the lyon (france) based label aiia recordings, which without surprise is still speaking about techno. the release is signed by the german duo schutzkontakt, with one member from dualit, who uses violent and reverbering kicks on konter and latenz, completed by a deep and sweet melody on frage, whether by different layers of indus samples. the most relevant feeling by listening this four-track ep is that it brings you between hard and soft moments, but still in a mighty state of mind, thanks to the intensity put by schutzkontakt in schuko ep. even if everything slacken when zyllinder comes with its more groovy and acid rhythms after the two precedent techno-indus tracks.

tom middleton and mark pritchards 76:14 is one of the 90s most acclaimed electronic albums, while a cast of aliases (reload, jedi knights and more) also orbited the project. their last record came out in 1997, and although there was a live reunion in 2010, the new material we were promised is yet to emerge. pritchards nowhere to be seen on this remix of duskys skin deep (its middleton flying solo), but its still an occasion. according to dusky, we knew we wanted someone special and we knew we wanted someone who would get to the heart of the melodies and textures in the breakdown. tom has totally delivered, creating something that draws on the heritage of the ambient sound, but also feels current and modern.

marc cerrone became the star of incredible live experiences in paris and elsewhere. as if, after having spent the first step of his musical career elaborating his repertoire, hed chosen to devote the second one to make it live permanently. firstly on stage, then through younger generations: when bob sinclar samples his music or invites him to collaborate, its a new way for cerrone to keep his main ability alive: make crowds dance. a talent which most of his younger fans - todd terje, prins thomas, james murphy and a whole generation of cosmic disco lovers - agree to and get inspiration from. from 1976 to 2014, cerrone, whose discography makes so many others jealous, never stopped playing and keeping his beat which he considers vital. and if disco music had to be summarized to one artist, one creator, it would be him and nobody else. this exclusive double lp sounds like a tribute to his prolific discography, containing incredible remixes talented producers. a cd with all tracks is included.

this record won the 1964 french prize grand prix du disque. this is an absolutely amazing recording, done in one non stop only time in simone signorets own parisian flat. simone signoret, cult french actor, reads la voix humaine by jean cocteau. according to jacques canetti himself, this performance was one of the very best and most intense he ever recorded. even if you dont understand french, you will feel simone signorets incredible poignancy.

shortly after his first ep on dnuos ytivil, sub-division of bristol imprint livity sound, simo cell, neo-parisian and nantes native, puts his second release out on fragil musique. on this one, the young producer asserts his bass-tainted electro influences. highly skilled and very technical dj, but above all open to bridges between genres and eras, the record feels like he conceived it for his own club usage. on the a side, two subtle twin tracks, -reading rashid- and -soko ban-. cycling melodies and hypnotic pads sketch two bass outlines, as simple as effective, that seem perfectly fit for switching from a stripped down techno track to an old jungle weapon. on the flip, hit track -meteor racer- is surprising. a rawer and more stripped down electro piece that lifts the veil a bit more on the young producers talent. those four brilliantly crafted track definitely place simo cell among the french newcomers to watch closely.

debut release from brian ring. raised in cork on a diet of us-american house music and disco oscillating between sylvester and glenn underground, while sneaking into clubs underaged (see sir henrys for further reference) ring was baptised by by david mancuso and theo parrish in london (thank you easyjet) while his record collection grew and grew. living in berlin now, an epiphany in some remote parts of australia (it was 42 degrees!) resulted in him following his own path in making music. so, here we go: the movements ep brings together mike dunn (sample has been cleared, folks), timothy leary and tee scott puts disco roller skates on heavy legged deep house and is most of all as much fun as it is sincere. all in a certain way that is personally his.
