edux return from a winter hibernation and summer of partying with some more essential wax. machete savane is their latest signing, aka studio supremo saul richards & andy bainbridge, an integral part on well respected and notoriously raucous party people bad passion andy has perfectly distilled what drives the bad passion dancefloor in the excellent >elysian fields<, and who better to put a unique stamp on the track than their main resident guest felix dickinson. he takes the track into bolder, dubbed out and altogether more acid house territory, while keeping the live elements to the fore. finally mid op amps up the drum machinery, and lays out another corking balearic with balls workout. quality stuff as always.

galaktika records delivers its 40th release and what a treat it is. one of the main acts on the label and a true protagonist in the barcelona electronic scene, pablo bolivar is well known all over the world for his quality output for labels like desolat and avantroots.

dfa has long been a favourite at the bitches hq and we were chuffed to be asked to remix one of our favourite acts, the rapture. we certainly were not shy and dove headfirst into this mix bringing out the guitars and the lovely beach boy-esque harmonies twisting it into an indie-electro-house dance floor stomper. its not for the wallflowers to be sure.dfa have released this goodie digitally, but as we bitches love our biscuits, we had to see it released on vinyl. and of course, we must ensure premium sound quality so this release is 45 rpm on 180 gram vinyl. happy listening.

carillon continues with the vinyl limited series, after imprints in my mind of giuseppe cennamo, is the time for francesco assenza - berlin - sleep is commercial with sarahs theme on carillon limited 002.
two tracks, two dancefloor killers. sarahs theme is the main track with the collaboration of jmc, another artist from sleep is commercial. the other track is sarahs tool and is a solid and massive song.

a shuffling mix of acoustic guitar riffs, licks, natural percussion and of course razs well known melancholic vocal lines all come together to generate a country folk feeling of the 60s. a dampened kick drives the energy deep and harmonicas seep into our minds and set our soul on fire. a fresh track for a hot summer day on the lake. acid pauli takes the track and acidizes it by adding, yep, acid lines and a very direct kick. the track gains more of a main time vibe, heightened energy and deeper bass allow this track to hold its own in a variety of set styles. the final mix is an open air anthem delivered from the sorry entertainers m. rux and lotti. using percussion of the same natural flavor and incorporating dirty synth lines, the two produce a heavier mix worthy of both dancefloors and home listening.
