endlich ist sie da, die dritte ostwind mit 3 ergreifenden tracks von nils nilson & einem fulminanten remix vom kollektiv turmstrasse..die 12inch startet mit morgens kurz vor sieben, ein freaky leicht angedubter minimal track mit dem nötigen punch um die party so richtig auf kurs zu bringen. mit parkplatztreffkommt uns ein futuristisch superb klingender minimal sound entgegen, der so dermassen locker dahersprudelt ohne uns jedoch seine detroit roots zu verheimlichen. der extrem quirlige kollektiv turmstrasse remix (abzweig turmstrasse) hat nicht nur am abzweig die kurve gekriegt, wahnsinning knorkiger & gleichsam geschmeidiger techhouse der besonderen art, very spooky. als abschluß track fungiert rollsplitt, ein rollender oldskool detroit track mit leichtem tejada einschlag, der so auch 1994 im e-werk berlin hätte laufen können, vielleicht der heimliche hit dieser ep.. wird u.a. schon gespielt von michael mayer (kompakt), raumagent alpha (festplatten),holgi star (microfon) und duplex 100 (morris audio)

break 3000 and adam kroll take quite some chances in naming their first collaboration 'get down' cause in the golden era of funk and disco every second track that was produced to 'just' get people on the went by this title ( a quick namecheck on allmusic.com confirms close to 300 entries ). well, our two protagonists surely had a few of those blueprints in mind as they clearly quote some of the main characterisitcs - handclaps, pulsating moroder style bassline, extra thick slap bass, robotic voice - mix them up with a few drops of acid, a rough guitar riff plus majestic paino chords and distill everything to a luiquid, sleek state-of-the-art house funker. the flip is more introspective and very atmospheric with darker, moody chords, yet the galloping square bassline and the omnipresent sharp highlight make sure that 'tonite' theres no parking on the dancefloor. when the players arrivea the club...beware
