worship keep their string of great releases going with this newie from seinan. >glow< is a bouncing dubby houser of the first order, with a killer bassline underpinning great drums, stabbing horns and guitar riff, and the ever-present reggae vibe on this superb dub excursion. on the reverse, >dubberware< is another bubbling dubby house gem, this time with a bit more emphasis on the house than the dub, with superb percussion, shuffling beats, and dubby guitar licks all combining atop another dubbed out bassline.

lewis boardman is an emerging talent in the underground house scene, and his >mist< ep is his debut release. lewis has been learning his craft through a dj residency at liverpools uber session, circus, alongside resident yousef, whom lewis remixed for recently on the renaissance label.

after his succesful remix of arnold jarvis house classic >take some time out<, toronto based basic soul unit (aka stuart li) is back on creme with a 4 track ep and he is bustin out those dope moves holmes! deep and raw, at times retarded and industrial edged emotional jack trax that are firmly rooted in the detroit/chicago tradition while keeping an eye on the ... damn we are rolling out thos cliches again today! hot-cold, blue-red, we are on fire!

italojohnson greets the dance floor with his first vinyl release embodying three functional tracks appropriate for any party mood.
the a-sides systematic drumming maliciously rumbles through the prime time floor as the mellow waves begin to take form and surge into a hysterical tsunami of beats. an emotional sunrise paves the tracks finale.

despite dfas disco pedigree, the juan macleans dj-kicks mix is a love letter to straight-up house music. its a driving, sweaty session thick with pumping keys, chunky drum-machine beats and chopped vocals, and it cuts confidently through the sweetest hour of dancefloor communion with filters billowing like sails. recorded specifically for the mix, the juan macleans new single >feel so good< is a perfect distillation of that vibe.

producer toby leeming is making quite a name for himself. after a year of sowing the seeds on the underground, this london-based artist makes his first high profile release on arts newly formed dance division series. >messier 66< contains all the classic elements of pure dancefloor techno. driving ur style beats merge with basic channel chord delays - all underpinned by a menacing acid line. techno doesnt get any more sci-fi than the alien soundscapes of >anadine< - its classic detroit-inspired string stabs and abstract vocal washes are highlights of a frantic, scattering track that will keep the feet busy on the dancefloor. >paucity< ends this no-filler ep with its majestic, sweeping pads and uplifting melodies. the beats are still tough and relentless - making a perfect finale to the second release on arts dance division series.
