after five weeks of performing and traveling around brazil, long-term dfa stalwart gavin russom returned home with not only a love for the music he�d discovered there - carioca funk, atabaque drumming, tropicalia, south american-style rave.

>esta si esta no< by the glimmers featuring baby g. is a cover version of one of the biggest euro rave anthems from the early nineties originally written and performed by spanish superstar dj chimo bayo. beautiful baby g (from lsb fame on eskimo recordings) took the vocals for her part whilst half of the glimmers house band disko drunkards are playing the instruments on this quite original adaptation. this release features three remixes. glimmers favorite german fella daniel haaksman (from berlin based man recordings) goes favella funk style with a very catchy sax hook and the amazing in flagranti is doing with the track what they can do best, making it very synthy disco sexy.. they deliver a vocal and an instrumental version.
