today we once again celebrate the coming together of two of technos most legendary and respected figures for the next installment of their much lauded elements series - oliver huntemann & dubfire. as the series name alludes, aire is a track that harnesses elements from the previous brace of tracks and brings them together whilst adding a fresh touch of flair. irelands matador takes on the remix task, delivering two contrasting new versions. his beautifully deep dub mix is an understated, smooth and wondrous excursion while his main mix throws down its earth-moving kick drum throughout as he allows the original atmospherics and fx to playfully pierce the production.

dense & pikas kneaded pains label arrives kicking and screaming into 2015 with another raw n raucous ep, this time from blake stone. deftone sets the scene nicely with a nice slab of heads down warehouse techno, good 2 me uses a well known sample for an altogether more sunnier track whilst flipsides cruel tone tightens up the beats for a very modern sounding slice of peak time action whilst affected once again delves in the darker side of things with a low-down dirty stomper.

arsat is the first argentinian telecom satellite launched into orbit. arsat gets the rocket ready to ignition: a repeated stabs loop manages the take-off with success. on remix duties, up-and-coming argentinian talent julixo delivers a jacking chicago-style interpretation of arsat. with beltran, the rocket starts its launch into space: although fast paced, the track brings some harmonious dubby elements and nice violins in the mix to calm down the expecting crowd: it s all going to be ok. formula ends the e.p. like a celebration of the satellite s geostationnary slot: a hard hitting, percussion driven, techno track where the stabs penetrate deep under your skin. not for the faint hearted!

afu welcomes dave simon from frankfurt with his harder bangin techno tracks on his methanal ep ! as a dj he played his forcing sets at so illustrious places like tresor, nature one, u60311, monza, airport, elektrokueche to name but a few and delivers without doubt, what he is known for as a prime time dj !

the title track -loom- builds around an electro acidic arpeggiated bassline that keeps intensity high through the roof and is topped with great drum and effect arrangements. -that s not you- goes into a deeper direction with a big bass house influence, killer breakdowns and great synth work. -bang- closes this release with style, this one is has a great bouncy groove, vocal stabs and dark twisted melodies making your mind trip all over the place.

this release includes several musical stories, each of which is independent. each of the tracks by the author described individual history from life. in general, each of the tracks is partly dedicated to one of the friends of the author. and none of these stories will not leave you indifferent.

it s a big honor that the former member and -minister of information- of underground resistance from detroit alan oldham aka dj t-1000 does a remix for this release. living between berlin and detroit, alan is a mastermind in electronic music and has pitched this track to a strong minimal -detroit meets berlin- version. the gunman remix is a more dramatic sub bass story. with snipped parts of the sigrid elliot vocals, a volumized organ and fx sounds, gunman gives you a blast for the dancefloor peak time. simon beeston, a music lover from new zealand who s also living in berlin, does a deep remix. with drums and a nice sub bass, he s showing his style.

our next big release at bad barbie, going out on digital and 12 inch, comes by the hand of aldo cadiz itself, but this time partnered with kareem cali. these two made a fantastic three track ep called monita ep. the first track monita presents a solid base created with a classic tech style and an extremely groovy bass line. full of small arrangements and a crazy vocal line, this tracks its perfect for any club dj. the second track bonita, is the one with the more old school vibe, from the bass line to the main acid synth, which goes evolving softly with a filter during the track to generate the needed tension. all this with a strong tech groove to follow the step of this solid ambience created by the acid synths. the last track moni, also has many techno and acid elements presents. we can perceive the techno soul mainly on the arrangement of the hi-hats and bass line, but the acid synth in triplet at the backend is what generates the crazy vibe and almost hypnotic feeling during the track, playing around with the volume of it. definitely a fantastic release to add to any collection.

get physicals first delivery for 2015 is, yet again, an ep that strays a bit off the beaten track. for this last installment, gpm290, junge junge has called upon australian native kyle pearce to set some velvety vocals to a toned-down, bittersweet delight of a track. the ‚beautiful girl ep opens with its namesake creation, a thumb piano-laden tune decorated by some seriously smoky singing just waiting to transport you far away. its followed by a handful of distinct reworkings, by audiofly who take on a dub remix and spins the song on its head to give it a new psychedelic identity. meanwhile, blond:ish throws it into darker terrain only to have the ‚beautiful girl lifted up by junge junge once again thanks to a slightly different version that turns it into danceable am epic by way of some wisely-placed kicks and claps.
