i-robots is an alias of opilec music boss gianluca pandullo, a long time dj and producer with a penchant for classic techno and electro cosmic disco. for his next project in the esteemed i-robots reconstructions concept series the italian re-edits some classic material, all with the permission of the original artists. the tracks in question are derrick mays hugely influential *emanon* cut, recorded under his rhythim is rhythim alias and originally released in the 1990s on his own seminal transmat records label – one of the most important imprints in the early days of techno alongside kms and metroplex. the second track – which was first released on metroplex, the label juan atkins founded in 1985 and then re-released and reworked on sound vision - is *game one* produced by the legendary juan atkins and orlando voorn as infiniti. the latter of these pair has already released a number of times on the opilec music label.

turbo launches warehouse series with londons randomer. turbo a&rs called in their heaviest up-and-coming producer in londons j. tijn for a remix. this is futuristic techno at its ruffest and tuffest, uniting kingdoms and birthing dynasties.

pow! belgian duo goldffinch are back on saigon recordings, bringing things back to where they should be: the dancefloor. the duo of yoann and gilles, from brussells, belgium, launched themselves swiftly to the forefront of their chosen electronic music style with a series of unmissable dancefloor weapons on labels like jackmasters numbers, claude von strokes dirty bird, saigon, airflex labs and audio culture. four new tracks on an ep entitled the volume, guess what the first track is called ... (yes, we dont do cleverly named eps). the lead track is smashing up airwaves/dancefloors around the world to the extent that we do sincerely hope that no injuries may have occurred due to any aggro-dance moves (we are not liable). support thus far has come from the likes of paleman, loefah, mary anne hobbs, and benji b, amongst others. goldffinch/saigon fully endorse the use of peacock related imagery.

all 10 releases + brand new dpk11!! dapayk solo is a studio workaholic and he strikes a blow for vinyl. in 2009 he started his very own vinyl only series called dpk, next to his well established labels mo s ferry, fenou and rrygular. the idea was to present vinyl in striking colours as a special format for his liveset tracks and beloved edits by artists such as format:b, super flu, sascha braemer and jon hester. it s a feast for the eyes and the ears all in one. now, four years later and after reaching #10 of the series, dapayk decided to compile all tracks in a collectors box. in addition to the previously released records he also included the brand new dpk #11 with a remix by aka aka. this big bundle contains 23 tracks and ranges from minimalistic to funfair tunes and also some edgy b-sides.

lord tusk makes his vinyl debut with the natural partnership ep the first in a series of releases on the newly minted levels imprint. a veteran of londons underground as a selector, lord tusks influences run deep: electro, hip-hop, old jack swing, film scores, p-funk, roots & culture and dub. a devotee of sound system culture and martial arts, both are reflected in his approach to music making which is free of restrictions. there are no specific tempos, genre limitations or fixed methods he works by. with lord tusk it is all about sensation, emotion, stimulation and inspiration from the sounds, instruments and effects. these are raw sounds for the big speakers.
