gonzo-gonzos versatility as a performer on the dancefloor is a trait just as easy to recognize here on the offering of his collage ep, a release encasing two original tracks complimented by reworks. collage kicks in with a punchy bassline from the get go, captivating earwaves while setting the tone for a highly dynamic, glittery disco infused piece.

following the wild success of a tune called >miezekatze< the viennese duo ogris debris now teams up with munich based academic producer and guitar virtuoso bartellow for a split/vice-versa feature ep. bartellows opener track >the thrill is gone< calls its home the kenny dixon jr. house territory while its funk feelings remind us of soulmates bootsy collins and george clinton. then the so called >rethrill< performed by ogris debris drives the tune even further into a pumping house excursion going crazy on a euphoric vocal chorus cryin out loud: thats why we party all night long!
for this seventh and awaited ep, released by the promising label fiakun, takes reins the acclaimed mexican producer cesar coronado. the young artist delights us with music full of new sounds, adapted to the infinite complexity of todays electronic music.

originally from columbus, ohio and now residing in new york city, myungho choi issues four new tracks on a touch of class. on these four dizzying tracks, choi again powers his stampeding funk grooves, ecstatic voices, and somersaulting rhodes melodies with classic soul bass lines. his stoked mix of soul, jazz, and house proves exhilarating in the steaming strutter lovin you today and high velocity disco anthem shakin bricks. less aerodynamic and earthier by comparison, the low slung party funk groove in how long till dawn would sound perfectly at home in a parliament funkadelic set, especially when voices chant shake and havin fun and horns blaze over a steaming stomp. the closer we aint leaving revisits the benson funk style of moment by moment by looping a guitar vocal fragment over a relentless minimal disco pulse. this ep. is without a doubt a true disco house infection and a definite one for the dance floor, which is not to be missed.
a very special compost release with two very rare tracks! the a-side features a great remix of beanfields >tides< with amazing vocals from bajka - of course its not quite up there with the unbelievable carl craig mix but then that would be an uphill struggle. ripperton from the lazy fat people adds his moody, deep slant to the track, less anthemic than carl craig but a more than welcome alternative. this mix was available for a short time as bootleg with ricardo villaloboss remix of depeche modes >sinner in me< on the flip and sold out quickly despite the poor sound quality. finally, one year later, this great tune sees it official release completely remasterd in chrystal clear sound - get it, play it, love it! in 2006 the duo tom wieland and marc frank - better known as 7 samurai - crafted a fine remix of invisible sessions under their panoptikum moniker. when michael reinboth considered this remix for his new future sounds of jazz compilation the guys decided to contribute even a little bit more: an excusive new version which became a definitely highlight of the whole compilation. the panoptikum 2007 remix surprisingly takes a leaf out of innervisions book for a smooth deep houser with a slighty techy sound and a touch of detroit in the vein of Âme or henrik schwarz. in contrast to the vocal version included on fsoj this 12inch features the trippy instrumental version. ace stuff! two must have tracks - all killer, no filler!
supported by laurent garnier, charles webster, kiki, layo, trickski, jeff samuel, dave mothersole, .. tills latest release >gestern< (efdemin remix) on morris audio citysport is still booming, and heres already the next hottie: >sein days< ! a melodic techno journey from till featuring the remix treatment from mark august (connaisseur, innervisions, pokerflat, perspectiv). >herr bert< is a straight techno track, keeping a deep and electryfing touch, while >berno< tends more towards a deep melodic side and reminds of >gestern<. mark augusts remix of >berno< is a classic house stomper that goes on and on and on!
rightly tipped as one of the big movers and shakers of the year, with more plays from pete tong than you can shake a very large stick it – this is one track causing one of the biggest buzz s we ve seen in while. alongside the original is the exclusive remix from tony senghore, this will not be available anywhere else so make sure you grab your copy whilst you can, extremely limited with no represses allowed
another superb remix package from 2020 and silver city. norwegian disco kings lindstrom & prins thomas follow ewan pearson and spirit catcher and provide two wicked remixes in a cosmic, balearic disco house style. they have stepped up and turned the superb p-funk, disco house of the original into a balearic, cosmic, disco epic. the talented multi instrumentalists have added a load of new parts and used the superb guitar solo from the original to create one of their best remixes to date
