maribou state kündigen mit ihrem neuen album “kingdoms in colour”, das über das ninja tune-sublabel counter records erscheint, ihre erste platte seit ihrem debüt “portraits” aus 2015 an. maribou state, das 2011 als projekt von chris davids und liam ivory begann, haben eine reihe von eps und singles veröffentlicht, bevor ihr debütalbum “portraits” sie von jetzt auf gleich auf die größten bühnen dieser welt katapultierte. mit einer live-show, die sie mit herausragenden festivalauftritten bei u.a. glastonbury, bestival, der secret garden party oder mit einer 32-tägigen europatournee rund um den globus führte, spielten sich die zwei briten im handumdrehen in die herzen ihrer fans. und auch die journaille war sogleich begeistert, wie artikel im guardian, i-d magazine oder vogue zeigen. bis heute sammelte ihr album über 80 millionen streams und zog vergleiche mit acts wie the xx, james blake und mount kimbie aber auch dj koze oder bonobo nach sich. limitiertes türkisfarbenes 180 gramm vinyl plus downloadcode.

sascha borchardt (a.k.a monoloc) will start a label, unterland, with a new ep.
the label will serve as a vehicle through which the german producer takes a step away from the club environment by presenting new sonic interpretations, including experimental, minimalist, and atmospheric. material will come from monoloc himself and friends, and the focus will be on “dramatic” sounds with drone and noise influences. think movie soundtracks and film music, albeit with both feet planted in the electronic genre. each release will aim to “tell a story” through 8 to 10 productions.
unterland will launch in end of march 2018 with a collaborative ep by monoloc and beauty of inconsequenz, a unsearchable and unidentified project with no previous recording history. the eight tracks are all based heavily on field recordings, the sound is dark and deeply atmospheric with dubstep influences. while distanced somewhat from the 4/4 format, the tracks are cerebral and hypnotic.
from there on, there will be 3-4 releases per year, each of which will be accompanied by high quality artwork as curated by borchardt, who will work closely with selected photographers and artists to provide imagery that aesthetically compliments the music.

ambareesh invites you into a paradoxical fusion of murky sound that pushes boundaries beyond banality. the juxtaposed *emotionless sensitivity* penetrates the senses creating a canal for deep sensitivity that runs contrary to indifference. between the rugged, jagged appearance lay the intricate essence of hidden quality as tracks reveal provoking denotation. *illusion* reveals the deep trudging that cuts through the whipping vibe. *bipolar nervous system* brings a sense of suffocation as the tormenting tandem of fragmented sound haunts the solar plexus. *walking through sand dunes* is a carefully constructed piece, stimulating successive pulsation as frightful ambience permeates. virile, cagey crawling sensations infuse as ambareesh concludes with *dehydrated*, a hollow, sterile piece of synthetic techno. this second ep by ambareesh on amba amba records is truly a careful union of tumultuous sound, provoking rowdy sensation that stimulates visceral response.

virtually every r&b record made in new orleans between the late forties and early seventies was engineered by cosimo matassa, and recorded in one of his four studios. cosimo placed new orleans on the musical map, recording the hits of fats domino, little richard, lloyd price and a host of other stars.

this is the 13th label d!fus release, just after the terence parkers finally ep pressed on wax too. eedio was the first french artist signed on legendary bpitch control label during 2000s. many releases after that and a remix for agoria (kofea (eedio speaking remix) alongside the sky is clear (michael mayer remix)), eedio was on d!fus early hours with his elation (to feel) ep / d!fu 002 in 2007.
now it is time to maturity with a new ep called 43, including two very well known remixers, announcing a new lp to come in december.
