perc trax returns with its 2nd in the pots & pans series, this time around with tracks from misc (sender / klang / resopal), simone tavazzi (analytictrail/perc trax) and oscar (karateklub / lordag). ruling over the a-side are german techno overlords misc, who when not recording for berlins sender imprint spend their time as niederflur for richie hawtins all conquering m_nus. >modern times< is build on rolling ercussion grooves, a jabbing bassline and a number of short but effective breaks.
with the first circle music compilation >the world of circle< the label presented itself as a community of artists, as a family, that proclaimed continuous movement, pure power and brilliant soundscapes in various styles which have these three attributes in common. with the new circle compilation >the mechanic side of nature<, now released as compilation ep series, the dualism of nature and life is represented in the mechanic character of electronic music art. by that it is possible to give the issue of circle music the face of its music: reflecting life consequently with electronic music and digital sound poems in all its facets.…

after the huge moonbeam >flickering ray< , move recordings continues with this amazing release from the new single to come out of end-jy. the logo side track «demons » combining sublime slamming baseline and a killer kick. is an angry club stormer in their known electrotechno fashion. a jacking track that is guaranteed to make the club bump. as if this wasnt enough on the flip side « heat » pick up the pace with an amazing pumping groove, perfectly to rock the dancefloor. with a huge dirty bass and killer drums which will be played as a peak time weapon by djs across many genres..
early support comes from loco dice, mathias kaden, after wba010, which was played already by ricardo villalobos, troy pierce, mathias kaden and also luciano, a role reversal takes place. this time chris lattner gets thechance to show his remix skills. frank leichers original track is hiking very calmly and dreamy into the evening. floating sounds are blending into melancholy and emotional euphoria cutted by short breaks. chris takes these floating sounds and switches them into deep voluminous basslines and ends after breaks, which are getting longer and longer, into a greatclimax. a great night cannot start better !!
supported by: dj hell, jonathan ulysses, da fresh, sebbo, tom pooks , flash brothers & moonbeam... silence with it s breathtaking vocal and unbelievable beautiful strings arrangement is a tech house symphony with all the dynamism of an 21st-century-underworld hit. in a more club context are the remixes by j-soul, saint martinique & stereofunk. so enjoy the silence
incl rmxs by jay haze & ernesto ferreyra !! lomidhigh unlmtd is a platform for non earthly music and frequencies from distant galaxies, that has echoed down onto us here at planet earth. the label aims to release music that knows no boundaries. to create a home for a label that doesnt contain itself to one genre or time. music that experiments and pushes its own limits into new and undiscovered musical territories. taking influences from the past, and presenting them in a new form. lomidhigh unlmtd has its sights set on the endless limits of the universe, in which it can roam freely and not be contained by gravity or any other earthly presence. the main concept behind the label is to not pigeonhole itself. expect the unexpected. its aim is to give record stores a rough time deciding which genre to put the releases under. at a time where the world is in dire shape, we feel its time to get away from the world and float into outer space. once named the final frontier, the universe knows no limits. the perfect place to surf through the milky ways to distant galaxies, to hear moments of the past echoing into the future. lomidhigh unlmtd is stoked to present its first release. monotaxs debut, the argentinean band formed by dilo (aka elephant pixel), imi and zooey.
special ltd pack contains 2x12 inch poldermodel album + 10 inch remixes by bart skils & anton pieete and d julz... played by richie hawtin, marco carola, ricardo villalobos, adam beyer and 2000 and one
support comes from laurent garnier, anderson noise, chris fortier, gunjah, jamie stevens.. ipoly music is the new imprint a&r ed by alec troniq and mentalic, managed by microtonal records. after various releases for etui records, phonocake and microtonal the two talented travellers have found their own place of creativity and reveries. ipoly stands for melodic dancemusic to lead deeper sentiments back to the dancefloor where body and mind become reunited. on ipoly001 alec troniq immerses via sub aquers to abyssal spheres, to dive through his own world of myths. on the other side a daunting mood of odd claustrophobia is created, to flip afterwards into a quite oppositional flow

meridian is a perfect example of dj 3000s evolution as a producer. the mark of a good producer is to never stop growing, once you do, you are condemned to making the same record over and over again and hoping no one notices. this record is the perfect marriage between the percussive staples of the motech sound, and a new lighter exploration of sound elements by dj 3000. >meridian< dares you to sit still while listening to it, or to stand on the wall if you are near a dance floor. its ability to make you dance as well as captivating your ear if you are sitting and listening illustrates the dynamic flexibility of the motech sound.
on her first release for dirtybird, chicago native j.phlip has created a track that is both intricate and massive. a wall of devastating bass anchors rumble rumble’s assault, bolstered by an effervescent rhythmic net of popcorn snaps, soda cans popping open, and seductive whispers and giggles at the very edge of audibility.
made to play brings the noise with the sounds of wearhouse music and head honcho lee mortimer. lee mortimers exciting, sleazy, demented take on house has been kicking the sh*t out of dance floors and festivals the world over. this e.p is not for the faint hearted but is for those who like to rock a big crowd in a ballistic way. when jimi hendrix played not just one but both sides of it at woodstock in the 70s the place went off its tits and when he reverted back to playing the guitar it just couldnt compare and he never quite got over that. lee mortimer is currently reveling in mass support from the likes of switch, claude vonstroke, diplo and kriss akabusi who apparently likes to play these tracks as a post love ritual, naked and chanting awooga! round the camp fire he has in his bedroom. if you want to embellish the feeling of either hendrix or akabusi in the primes of their existences then get stuck into this release and youll feel like a combination of the two peaking on acid.
the third release on rare is produced by the new eintakt member breandan davey and he comes with a mixture between minimal funk-tech, neo-disco and jazzy-electro techhouse
steffen baumann & stefan hollaender got the inspiration for that track from the shant of an unknown shaman. the hypnotic vocals and the massiv bassline make the track to an bomb somewhere between deep-house & tech-house. the >taste t meets wishes & dreams remix< on has much more progressiv-house elements. the bassline of the original tracks is picked up by a warm but also pumping synth line. the track is released on a 10 inch record.

after the critically acclaimed album >last days of silence< projected b12 back into the techno limelight after 12 years of silence, the duo, mike golding and steve rutter have remixed some of the most asked for tracks from the album and combined them with two completely new and unreleased tracks. this limited remix release concentrates on the listening rather than dancing and brings the duos perfect atmospheres, melodies, moods and beats together to create a new take on the best of their album in a way that only b12 are capable of. limited to 900 copies world wide!
dj support by dj hell, luciano, troy pierce, davide squillace (dc10, ibiza) and many more... name+relucto first gathered praise as remixers for the aforementioned fool with their demented re rub of drama earlier this year. their debut is a four track vinyl and digital release. longblackcurlyteeth’ is a dark and deadly slice of techno which germinates from stripped sleeparchive style minimalism into a gloopy acid evolution that plunges and skews itself into the sinister depths of foreboding, resonant evil. blueballs picks up the tempo and undulates along a jacking groove of raw metallic, mashed up alien calypso funk. title track spawnofspoon is a demonic mongrel of future styles. this scuzzy hip hop homage is riddled with shredded vocals and mutant bass modulations which explode into a post rave, acid armageddon. alex cotex is in devastating form with his hypnotic rework of lbct, the result is a mesmerising, relentless beast that reverberates a pulsing throb underpinned by a fizzing 303 bassline
this is quite simply one of the most glorious records you will hear this year. it would be easy to lazily reference it against classic period rephlex/planet mu stuff (oops, i just did!), and indeed it appears to share some of the same heritage (even going so far as to feature a remix of rephlex artist global goon in its tracklisting) - but chris leary aka ochre is obviously a man on his own mission. gorgeously lush, but at the same time super-funky…as electronic as kraftwerk starring in a remake of tron, yet somehow as pastoral and organic as edward elgar…much like his label-mate ed chamberlain, leary manages that tricky task of being supremely technical in his programming and arrangements, but without losing the heart and soul of the music amidst all the studio trickery. you know that old chestnut often said when referring to vintage or classic music, >they dont make them like that any more<? well they do…and here it is! simply fantastic.
yes, hes back with a huge follow up, after his first impress he left with down. his decision to work with the wonderful and unique voice of soniamiki was just magnificient. marlon krupa is well known in the minimal techno szene because of his digital releases, which always climed the highest positions in digital download charts. its high time to introduce him to the friends of vinyl. with his minimal remix, he will impress! at least, racso and jenn pushed the original in their different kind of styles and generate at all, a record with a high variety of sound and styles. taste the full-bodied flavour of the night!
incl lemos adn savas pascalidis rmxs !! after the heavy rotation on almost every bigger summer festival this year (plays by butch, dubfire, bodzin, huntemann, oscar, ricardo villalobos, steve bug) its now time for some fresh interpretations from lemos and savas pascalidis. the summer is back in town and everybody wants its anthem, tenga, tenga!
after a longer break because of moving and starting a new company maschine is finally back with release number 15!play the music mixes by pierce and matt star .the original version on b2 was written by a new project from italy named ilario naples and paco experience. colognes pierce known for his releases and remixes on blufin, mbf etc. - on the a-side is taking it from a more hypnotic deep level and nicely builds up a rolling groovy playback. matt star one of the most uprising talents of the past months - on b1 using more of the original parts to create a nice atmospheric trip through the track

after the success of the beautiful and sultry ‚move with me‘ on poker flat 97, alongside patrick chardronnet‘s blissfully deep ‚days like these‘, david durango is back with three mesmerising tracks on dessous. like a dark, empty night made warm by the pure, reviving light of day, ‚striptease‘ is an epic tale of love and resolution. skipping, light percussion flourishes are joined by memorable chord phases that wash through and over the senses. a tender and sincere detroit style breakdown is then skillfully danced out with teasing, climactic moments of tension. ‚human‘ is by comparison a lighter journey, as durango trusts his rhythmic instincts and pulls out some fresh and airy hypnotising synth stutters and a rich palette of spacious percussion. neo-chicago stlye, ‚japanese revenge‘ is a faster paced deep-down groover that works chugging organ stabs and jacking beats along with glorious room-filling bending synth glides. it‘s a versatile track that sums up durango‘s unmistakable talent for creating an atmosphere and a celebratory, old-school vs new school vibe. durango‘s skilled, un-rushed style is the key here, and leads to three very unique dancefloor excursions, each with their own directions, moods and tingling electronic atmospheres.

zero cash is back, served in slices! dont say what you think comes at you with two different versions, both hot out the over. the main mix is straight ahead, bangin and dark for the peak hours and tends to make you very nervous. the alternate mix takes you down the dial to minimal/sci fi soundtrack land slathered over an intentionally thicker crust. both mixes are hot and heavy and not for the feint of heart. then in classic zero cash style he lightens stuff up for the b side with more than enough taking you on an electro journey remniscent of 80s cop shows and shoot em up video games. served in slices, get em while they re hot!!!

itamar sagi from the be as one label really made a name for himself with his black gold track that was released earlier this year. inspired by the warmer and more emotional side of detroit techno he very much captured something real and true in that song which certaintly paid off in the end. here he has done something a bit different. not less good though. actually better. this is a record for those moments when you need to increase the pace but still wants to keep the soul. perfect!
