das erste album von maga ist eine klangliche reise durch verschiedene resonanzen. vollständig in guadalajara aufgenommen, ist resona die kombination aus jazz und elektronischen einflüssen.

in den vergangenen zwei jahren besuchte mickael agarla alias maga mehrmals guadalajara, um verschiedene arten von klängen und schwingungen aufzunehmen. von der mystischen posaune über die kantige trompete und die tieffrequente tuba bis hin zu gesang und schlagzeug - maga mischte diese verschiedenen klänge mit einer elektronischen note.

this is a collaboration between instrument builder and composer pierre bastien and the london based experimental duo tomaga (valentina magaletti and tom relleen)

music for visual disorders collects together various compositions by tomaga that have been used by different artists or curators within the context of works of visual art, dance or exhibitions.

emotional response returns to the schleiben series, with another offering of 4 split albums. again artists are given free reign, encouraged to push the boundaries of their studio and live experimentation in form and texture.

london band tomaga are back with their fourth release under the hands in the dark banner: memory in vivo exposure. the 12inch ep consists of four original tracks and yet another new musical evolution for the duo. whilst they still use complex layering and harmonic polyrhythms in developing their original approach, this time the sonic tales they have shared are much more cinematic and dreamlike. these visions are locked up into emotionally charged loops to convey the sensation of a dream in which half remembered things become new zones of feeling.

* limited edition gatefold 2lp set with printed inner sleeves. * following their surprising debut on cassette tape in past february, magamura put out the vinyl version of supernaturals. comprised of eril fjord and laurine frost, the hungarian duo have carved out their reputation through live performances at renowned festivals and venues like arma in moscow, combining the formar’s indie aestheric and the electronic music prowess the latter has proved on work for the nervmusic imprint. despite their huge influence from the 70-80s experimental music, supernaturals is not so much retrospective as ominously dystopian. it captures and distils their well-known improvisational mutability into a testament to their promising potential, which will stand the test of time. this is kebko music’s first instalment on vinyl. following our tradition of carefully-wrought artwork, the lp comes in a gatefold sleeve designed by damien tran. * kebko music is tokyo-based akiko kiyama’s independent music label focusing on releasing avant-garde music which is not bounded by any specific genres but embraces the whole range of techno, experimental music, field- & live-recordings and classical music. the label owner established her name by richie hawtin featuring her track in his well-known de9 transitions mix in 2005. since then, her music style has gradually changed to explore the edge of electronic music. the core of the label is based on small handcrafted editions of cassette tapes. it aims to give a chance for all of artists and listeners to explore their musical experience and creativity.

catalogue reference number 6 of overall music limited, comes from the hand of the portuguese producers : pedro goya & magazino. renown names of the lisbon scene, they are involved in different projects such as parties and record label « bloop » in the case of magazino and frenzy music for pegro goya. here they deliver 3 originals cuts in their canal (ep) where they show their love for analogue sounds between house and techno. the release is coming with a remix of the label co-owners hanfry martinez & javier carballo who ve turned dublock track into a groovy & hypnotic version.

it’s a diverse and distinctive listen loaded with the kind of grubby sonics and curveball composition choices that we so love here in the cassette realm.
