diese 12’’ des spanischen dj und house-produzenten kiko navarro bietet einen kleinen, aber mehr als neugierig machenden vorgeschmack auf das demnächst folgende album “everything happens for a reason”. beim track “twilight” handelt es sich um eine gefühlvoll-wolkige, deep house orientierte neufassung von frankie beverlys legendärem club-hit der achtzigerjahre. dessen energisch-euphorische, tief in acid getauchte und mit einer prise oldschool gewürzte dub-version dürfte jeden dancefloor zum Überkochen bringen. das rohe und analog wirkende b-seiten-groove-monster “cranc” lässt mit einer insistierenden bassline, warmen synth-chords und jazzigen einsprengseln alte detroit-zeiten hochleben.
