brandneues material der britischen elektronikpioniere the radiophonic workshop, die, 1958 gegründet, zahlreiche soundtracks für die bbc produzierten, vom nme als -the british kraftwerk- bezeichnet und von the orb, four tet und aphex twin (der 2003 auf seinem label rephlex eine 4x10inch retrospektive veröffentlichte) verehrt werden. das neue album burials in several earths entstand in kollaboration mit synth-pionier martyn ware (the human league, heaven 17) und steve dub jones (mit dem grammy ausgezeichneter toningenieur der chemical brothers, unkle, new order). trw verbinden experimentell-analoge und neueste, digitale techniken zu eindringlich-atmosphärischen klangstrukturen.

dear friends and partners, after the success of the 87003, now we are very proud to present you the 87004. oliver bock aka esoteric workshop is a new fresh talent from darmstadt, residing in frankfurt and he shows us with the sentics ep his unusual kind of minimal techno. he works exclusively with modular systems, analog synthesizers and mpc.

last years tbg01 was charted by german djane ellen allien and broadcasted by gilles peterson of bbc-international fame - amongst others. the second installment (with the slightly confusing catalog-number tbg04) changes its appearance from white-label 12 inch in a black & white gatefold cover to heavy white vinyl in a multicolored disco-sleeve. the labels patron arthur boto conley showcases the work of obscure 1980s producer clifford trunk. the lo-fi dance and ambient tracks origin from a tape which was hand to conley by trunk during a brief encounter at düsseldorfs ratinger hof in 1986. depicted on the cover you can see italian designer ettore sottsass work for the fashion company esprits european headquarter which opened up the same year. clifford trunk was working for the sottsass associati from 1982 on and had a leisure time obsession for drum-computers and sample synths. what a serendipity! - limited to 333 records.

stamped white label 12 inch beautifully fitted in a gatefold cover with 2 special cut-outs. this also includes a magazine that purports to be an ethnological excursus on the subjects trance and roman glasses. the label website does not give more information than the excerpts of a documentary about the golden record which was shot into space with voyager 2 in 1977. mysterious raw chi-town tracks for the vast universe. the label-code tbg01 promises: theres more to come

dj-mixes often do little more but keeping up a certain mood. to establish a mood like this, masterful sven vŠth only needs a couple of moments. but this is it not enough for the inimitable dj from frankfurt am main. vŠth wants to introduce us to an entire world of electronic sounds. the music is an end to itself, yet at the same time, it is more: vaeth employs it to express his passion for the whole scene, to tell about the adventures he has experienced traveling, about his love for his friends, his children, his girlfriend and particularly to his fans all around the world.
