temperatures are dropping and we re all feeling the effects. bordello a parigi is letting the cold winds of the north swirl inside its doors with russia s volta cab bringing a fresh 2lp to the table. a spread of influences come together for the eleven tracks of rise again. take -emerald s phantasy-, a piece built on layers of percussion that blends elements of disco with notes of techno. -dark room- is a different affair. arctic chords are cut with electro and distant vocals for an unsettling treat. -kruger- stomps to a terse beat before lush pads bloom in a work that builds to dizzying peaks. warm blasts balance these colder moments, the rich grooves of -savage fury-, the floor filling funk of -board scandinavia- and the removed romance of -sweet exorcist- all show another shade to the volta cab sound and of course there s more. rise again is an audio collection of vibrant colours and hues, tracks pitch from icy blues to autumnal ambers and fiery reds, a musical kaleidoscope that stretches across a spectrum of styles.

madrid. st petersburg. frigio is hooking up with russian electronic explorer volta cab for a four tracker of shadowy disco darkness. thick drum patterns are shot through with strobe as -johnny 320- enters the room. swaggering onto the floor, this greased thug means business. samples mutter intent as grooves grind and twist their way into the late hours. juanpablo lowers the lights for his remake. rhythms richochet and basslines loom in this lewd and dramatic track, a piece born in the grit and sweat of the floor under a haze smoke. the lights are kept low for the flip. -immortal fix- spikes and spins, laser beam synthlines cut through rumbling chords with snares that do more than just bear teeth. italy s hesperius draco closes johnny 320 with giallo horror grandeur. beats and words are shrouded in lilting strings for this sinister curtain fall.

vr is delighted to welcome the ukranian disc jockey volta cab for its thirteenth release. the dnipropetrovsk local delivers a three-track ep that kicks off with the dance floor weapon i cannot sleep. classic warehouse beats in combination with twisted vocals. jamelia builds up on the a-side with some shifting hats that call for the dance floor. in b2, volta cab remembers when house had artists and personalities. i remember is an idyllic journey that tells a story.

lost paradise delivers a modern execution of our post-disco dance music culture, maintaining references to the past and looking for the oasis on the horizon.

volta is one of the most sought after producers in russia. one of the newest members to the balance music groups family and he brings versatility like no other producer out there. his productions go in every direction from cosmic disco to deep techno. he is also known as isaev and his other alias common people under the bal-ance alliance anchor. this young producer has set the course for the next generation of future producers. not only is he a producer but his live sets are second to none, and we are glad to have him in the family. the first song is empire times which is a throwback to the early nineties classic new york signature four on the floor sound with fuel injected synths and a great dance floor peak time get down groove. the second song is curious dreams this song has so many different elements, it is by far one of my favorites of the ep, it has an 80&#8223,,,s sound that crosses many different genres of music from disco to classic electro with a splash of house. the third song is called purple train another fantastic take on his production skills with this massive deep techno heater that will get the crowd moving with its deep chords and its lush drum programming makes it dance floor friendly for sure..then last but not least we have song four called ruby nights this song brings a minimal broken beat sound that has the elements of house with a twist. we at fi-nale are happy to have volta cab as a member and we want to share his gifts with you. we would like to thank you for your loving support. stay true to the roots. love you

volta cab has made quite an impact on the nu disco / deep house scene since last year. he is a multitalented, versatile producer, performing brilliantly in a range from from nu disco, deep house, soul, techno to breakbeat. approaching music in an open way, he is not restricting himself to a certain genre, catching the zeitgeist. on serenades, volta cab takes us back to 1992 with a 4 tracker called >house of the rising fire ep<. all of the tracks are heavily influenced by rave and house soundscapes of the early 90s. think of early prodigy, altern8, rachel wallace and baby d, combined with a modern nu disco twist.

russia is a cold country, but it seems that volta cab has created an underworld in his hometown, where he creates, creates and dont stop creating dance music with a warm, acoustic and timeless point of view. konstantyn gives us for this fourth release, three original tunes where acoustic are mixed with synthetics as no one ever had done and gives us details that only come to those music lovers who are never satisfied with a simple rhythm. this time the fiakun boys have two pure elite remixers, such as daniel bortz and ene! which they have remixed >be madly in my love< with their own perspective and initiative.

london based label ism serves up a massive ep with three tracks from russian disco producer volta cab, all of which offer some seriously downtempo grooves. >play on< and >magic in your eyes< nail the classic sub 110bpm disco sound with its lush live instrumentation. however its the shining 80s feel of >hes a bad mutha< that is the most impressive, melding a sleazy vocal with a heart-rending combination of synths and horns. label bosses yam who? offer two remixes, with their version of >play on< a cosmic uptempo version of the original, with an ascending synth bass that elevates the original vocal to new heights. their remix of >hes a bad mutha< adds a similar amount of extra dancefloor kick, removing the originals yearning melody for something a little more forceful.

a1 volta cab & the legendary 1979 orchestra -­ the ideal now: this track planted the idea for a collaborative release. a superb house track for the summer months, what a bomb! the track has an amazing groove, melodic keys and heavy percussion. feel good stuff!.
