los angeles-based producer and dj cromie stays close to home with his debut on the los angeles via chicago label these things take time. after an exquisite release on amadeus and recent appearances on 100% silk and 00:am, cromie graces the label with his rare yet striking sounds for its fourth release.

denis sulta has announced new offshoot to his sulta selects imprint, silver service. the debut release comes from cromby an irish born, berlin based producer on the up. following a thumping set at belfasts beloved ava festival, his new ep will be released on 21st september and features three peak-time club weapons, inspired by the sounds of classic chicago house. the lead futurola is a hard-hitting, jacking house track that packs a fierce bassline and emotive punch, whilst b1, barneymania is a chicago-tinged acid roller that layers melodic chords, the ep ends with the dark and sci-fi-tinged electro of fandango. the new label follows on from denis sulta’s selects imprint home to three volumes of his own essential 12inch series

after moving from london to berlin cromby is back on tenderpark with his second ep for the vinyl label. the young man recreates our love for deep house with two sample-based tracks which showcase his ever advancing skills with the old school akai sampler mpc 2000 xl as well as his cool understanding of mixing haunting melodies with gripping groove patterns. the remix on the flip side comes from hip-hop super producer gone house lover hodini who has collaborated with the talented bass player chez kerim for this funky workout. the cover image shot by achim valbracht is the start of a new artwork series developed by tenderpark art director till sperrle which revolves around critique of investor-driven architechture that has been dominating berlin for several decades now. the speciously precious and glittering image displays a normalised and globally standardised kind of beauty but at the same time reveals a strong sense of loneliness. as always both the mastering and as well as the lacquer cut of this record have been carefully executed by vinyl sound mastermind helmut erler at dubplates & mastering.

after introducing jin cromanyon end of last year with a special 7 single, we asked him to prepare an lp for 2017. few weeks ago he sent us his tracks which made us so anthousiastic ! a pure ovni in between electro, acid-house, synth-pop and j-pop, rough but romantic, a sort of viewlexx meets depeche mode meets a guy called gerald with the japanese twist » !! takuti takuta !!

following on the heels of last year s -circuit ep-, which got support from the likes of scuba, matthew dear and 2000 and one, andre crom starts into 2017 with -short circuit-, another offering of stripped back and highly functional dj-tools.

we are starting the new macadam mambo 7 inch series with 2 crazy acid house / electro tracks by japanese’s new comer jin cromanyon. we’ve been in touch since last february in japan where we met for the first time and decided to work on this project. those 2 tracks will also feature on cromanyon’s lp, in preparation for next year. rémy mattei, who previously made the artwork for ultima sensazione last year, is back with a demential drawing. shortly it’s crazy, it’s dope and it’s limited to 350 copies, so don’t sleep.

with the summer coming to an end, andre crom presents 2 dark and moody cuts between techno and house to return to the club dancefloor s.

-the existence- is likely the most functional track we have yet heard from andre crom s recent series of solo ep s. a tight drum groove, a rolling, modulating acid bassline, eerie synth pads and a spaced out vocal create a mixture that s sure to fill any

three new dancefloor weapons from andre crom s recent production marathon. they are results of a journey both in location and style: written mostly during an extended asia tour, the three tracks explore the borders between techno and house, giving proof of crom s musical evolution. both melodic and highly functional, this ep is prepared to hit the clubs and festivals of the summer.

after years of mainly working on coproductions, andre crom started to dive deep into solo studio work in november 2015, and since then has been pretty much obsessed with nothing else.

andre crom teams up with mysterious vocalist ségou to present an ep connecting electronica and tech house. the pack starts with andre s club mix, an intense arp-driven dancefloor burner, using heavily effected parts of the vocal to create a tripped out frenzy on the dancefloor. johannes brecht, one of 2015 s breakthrough artists thanks to his releases on labels like poker flat or diynamic, delivers a pristine remix in his very own jazz-house-electronica sound. the pack is completed by andre s -acoustronic- version, a melodic and melancholic song, fusing electronic and live instrumentation with ségou s haunting vocals.

cromby is an exciting addition to the london house music scene: originally hailing from belfast he has made camp in the british capital and brought his mpc 2000 xl with him. the young man who has grown up listening to chez damier and moodymann makes use of the japanese sampler from akai in a highly fresh and creative way combining raw drums with sweet and melancholic pads and chords. on his * planets and parks ep* cromby displays a very nice balance between a traditional deep house understanding and a forward thinking attitude and is thus just perfect for tenderparks’s idea of musicality. as far as the artwork of the record is concerned the beautiful black and white image is the last part of tenderparks current series concieved by art director till sperrle and photographer magdalena bichler. and as you ve come to expect from tenderpark all tracks have been mastered and cut by helmut erler at dubplates & mastering once more.

andre crom returns to off with a deep and moody piece of house music. based on a layer of solid drums and a warm bassline, the track evolves with a gliding synth hook and bell theme, topped by a haunting vocal featuring bramwell. berlins rising star jonas saalbach delivers a spacy interpretation, altering the original theme and introducing new synth layers. finally, london-based ashwort adds a toolish deep techno remix, only using fragments of the vocal to give more focus to the groove.

cromies quietly become one of las most vital house producers. following a killer debut for nyc-based label peach alongside fellow eastsider sage caswell (with a remix by none other than kyle mf hall), hes been patiently honing his craft. his unique, amped-up vision of house music comes into full view with his amadeus debut, at interfaces.

the final chapter in the trustxv trilogy once again brings together an elite crew of electro programmers. tracks by the exaltics, plant43, adapta, and epy x micromega conclude the fate of interstellar mining outpost 61 cygni e. full color sleeve by dextro.org, 150 copies in colored vinyl (randomly packed!).

dubspeeka, known from a streak of amazing originals and remixes on drumcode, lnoe and other labels, makes his off debut with a deep dub techno remix in his signature style, chopping up the vocal in a hypnotic way. musumeci, who established himself with a small but very characteristic number of tracks on connaisseur, bedrock and his own -engrave ltd- label, delivers 2 remix versions, both in his trademark minimalistic and timeless production style. finally, melokolektiv, one of off s new core acts, deliver an interpretation that is both functional and epic, based on a latin flavoured groove.

cromie s bubbling, spacious house sound first drew critical acclaim last year on the sold out 12- vines / pyrex (peach001), a collaboration with fellow la producer sage caswell. now, peach is thrilled to present cromies solo debut ep inner knows, a revved up set of idiosyncratic dancefloor weapons. how to stop a bulldozer, a rotating helix of synth stabs, warped vocals and low-end torque warrants it s epic title. elsewhere, flan functions like a potent concentrate of 22nd century funk. inner knows kicks off side b with a swirling late night house jam that flirts with the deeper corners of the genre. another fixture in la s electronic scene, suzanne kraft (running back, esp institute, pharoahs) closes out the record with a cubist reading of flan. on his solo debut, cromie s creative depth and attention to detail belies his freshness to the game. regular sets at las club called rhonda and various underground happenings in the sprawling southland have taught him some valuable lessons. if he can deliver this many distinct sounds on a single record, we cant wait to hear what’s next.
