the first release from the label bm founded by takasi nakajima who is known by the release from indigo area and the activity of different world with claude young. the ep conpiles the tracks from takuya matsumoto who is known by the release from royal oak, fina, cosmic blue, meda fury and r&s.

japanese producer takuya matsumoto first surfaced back in 2001 on a split release with compatriot kouji nagahashi (seek out the rubicon) but its more recently hes been getting the attention his classy house productions deserve.

vinyl only release, timeless detroit rooted techno

waehlscheibe is back: the swiss label keeps on doing what it does best and releases another truly deep and dubby house record. this time its japanese artist takuya morita known for his releases on morris / audio and adjunct who pleases with soft pads and chords, rich delays and ultra low basses. all four tracks on this record are strictly instrumental and oscillate nicely between deep house and techno. moreover, they cover a wide range of moods suitable for playing at various times of the night. the >placid sunset ep< comes with a special 2nd version of the title track which has been reconstructed and stripped down by s&ro and alessandro crimi from waehlscheibe. as always all tracks have been mastered by above smoke at the hole of dub studio.

mirko loko, has always worn his detroit musical influences on his sleeve, counting pioneer carl craig as his mentor, and having worked with the likes of derrick may and stacey pullen in the studio. and on daybreak, mirko fully indulges in the one genre that seems never to get tarnished, the mechanical and industrial beats working off the deep and soulful strings and melancholic pads, a true hallmark of the classic sounds of the motor city

obscure japanese house release from 2010 that was pressed in a small batch and sold out soon on the japanese market. the funk drenched, jazz injected tracks slowly went from mouth to mouth over the last 2 years creating demand for a proper release that reaches more corners of the world! excellent release produced by this japanese producer from tokyo, manufactured in detroit (archer)
