for release number 16 on de:tuned stefan robbers aka terrace steps up to the plate. the veteran and well-respected dutch producer from the city of eindhoven unleashes four brand new techno tracks with a strong detroit dna for the discerning dancefloors. it’s everything you’d expect from a terrace release: a crisp and warm analogue sound with plenty of melody and groove, dubby undertones and fat chords. the icing on the cake is the optical themed artwork created by designer openmind (aka strictly kev, dj food, ninja tune). as per usual matt colton from alchemy mastering reworked the source material to guarantee a flawless listening experience. this release will be available on 180 gram vinyl. a digital release will also be available from all the usual outlets. stay tuned!

acidworx kicks off their artist series with this lovely 3-tracker produced by harold de kinderen, and stefan robbers. the dutch duo known to the world as acid junkies really need no introduction. they have been amongst top producers of acid since 1992 when they first launched the acid classic track -sector 9- on the djax-up-beats label, followed by their successful album -paranoid experience- two years later. their newest release -time kills- on acidworx ranges from old skool acid bleeps to high tech electro with a scent of industrial and ebm-body music. a super funky acid remix of the track -drifters- by seri from japan is also included. limited edition first press on transparent 12-.

gerard hanson hails from the unlikely environments of dallas, texas usa. his music has influences from derrick may, stefan robbers, red planet and carl craig.. he released his first 12inch in 1995 on matrix / detroit. after that he released on labels like tektite recordings, down low, ai records, frustrated funk, frantic flowers and aw recordings. he is very careful about sharing his music with the rest of the world. in the last decade he only used the aliases convextion and e.r.p. (event related potential). e.r.p is an electro-edged moniker....

in the early 20th century large parts of southeast japan were terrorised by mysterious gangs of highwaymen. these robbers called themselves the nagasaki nightriders and were the subject of many legends. at sunset rich industrials and landowners locked their doors and waited in fear. with an amazing speed the nightriders attacked and ransacked their targets. their incredible pace made people suspect they were in league with the devil. named after a medieval legend, the nightriders were supposed to fly through the sky on glowing he-goats
