evan michael debütiert mit schwebendem, spannungsgeladenem deep house im mid-tempo-bereich. eines tages bekamen wir wieder eine email mit einigen demo-tracks, wie es fast jeden tag passiert. aber dieses mal waren wir wirklich beeindruckt und entschlossen uns, sie zu veröffentlichen. und hier ist es, das dpc-debüt dieses talentierten mannes aus brooklyn, welches uns einen einblick in sein reiches und weites spektrum seiner erstaunlichen arbeit beschert.

a towering talent in the future house scene and one of bristols most adored exports, eats everything is about to deliver his first full ep for the kindred spirits at futureboogie recordings. displaying his softer sound palate, the mid-tempo grooves of the aptly named >slow for me ep< are more slinky than slamming but every bit as cheeky.

the continued rise of alan fitzpatrick is the biggest story in uk techno right now. having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2009, fitzpatrick now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer. by releasing his debut album for adam beyers globally renowned drumcode label, alan became the first act to record an album on drumcode since 2005.

something so personal which features vocals from rain phoenix comes from a collection of unfinished unreleased tracks and is a smooth soulful track. on the flip, what is false gets an extraordinary remix from machinedrum. another great installment of the 4 seasons series.

with juno records hitting its tenth release we revisit yet another classic from the archives of electronic music royalty. producer, label boss, dj & remixer extraordinaire, charles webster will need no introduction to house music lovers, and its his 1998 collaboration with renowned uk vocalist shara nelson which gets a 2010 touch up. orignally out on the seminal label pagan, >sense of danger< was a true deep house anthem back then and stuttgarts most famous son, motor city drum ensemble steps up with two contrasting but equally excellent remixes. the >other thing dub< revisits the raw cuts sound that mcde is famous for - nelsons vocal expertly chopped up over organic piano grooves and a chugging beat. the second vocal mix stays truer to the tough beats and metallic synths of websters original, a real chicago feel provided by the ebullient hats and dubby bass line.

adam beyer returns to mad eye with a storming two tracker. keeping it deep and funky and a little bit druggy, beyer takes us on a swirling journey with eerie synths and dubby bass. this is definitely not a record just for a techno frat - you will definitely see cross over to the tech and deep house boys who yearn for something a little bit tougher in their sets. once again beyer can do no wrong as he cements himself as one of the biggest names in techno today. sickeningly good!

made to play welcomes zombie disco squad to its demented label stable and celebrates by unleashing the bombs that are heavy breathing and vie! straight out of the underground tombs of house stomp the zombie disco squad. they have already picked up support from across the board including jesse rose signing them exclusively to made to play but not before one mr claude vonstroke stepped in for a single on dirtybird. influenced by everything from balie funk and hip hop to deep house, techno and graveyards the multi-talented production duo are taking house to new levels. they are getting plays from underground big guns such as luciano, ricardo vilalobos and frankenstein as well as radio 1s annie mac, pete tong and zane lowe. as djs they regularly touch down in clubs such as fabric in london, hive in zurich and berlins panorama bar where they are residents at the regular made to play label night. if you dont know then get to know as your going to be hearing a lot more from the zombie disco squad as the undead come to life in 2009.
