russian born anastasia vtorova is based in berlin and makes music under the name machine woman. prior to joining the technicolour ranks, she has released two 12”s - via the self-titled imprint of swedish producer peder mannerfelt (2015) and uk label where to now? (2016) - plus a handful of very limited cassettes via sacred tapes (2015), tesla tapes and ono (2014).

roll the dice are back with a new full length album, ‘born to ruin’. the swedish duo, which consists of malcolm pardon and peder mannerfelt, are established musicians in their own right. pardon’s background producing scores for film and television is reflected in roll the dice’s cinematic aesthetic. while mannerfelt’s acclaimed third solo album ‘controlling body’ landed in 2016, he counts the likes of fever ray among his producer credits.

incredilbe package with remixes by schatrax, kink, todd sines as .xtrak, kink and the subliminal kid. the result of schatrax take is a typically beautiful and deep reworking. todds remix of dodaso is typically fucked up and funky in true .xtrak style. kinks version of the gauntlet remains quite faithful to the original whilst also instilling it with his own trippy and unique style. last year peder mannerfelt, aka the subliminal kid, sent me a track which became the only track released on off-key through a demo submission. blackwood freestyle has mutated under the hands by the subliminal kid into a rolling dub inflected groover.

dj-mixes often do little more but keeping up a certain mood. to establish a mood like this, masterful sven vŠth only needs a couple of moments. but this is it not enough for the inimitable dj from frankfurt am main. vŠth wants to introduce us to an entire world of electronic sounds. the music is an end to itself, yet at the same time, it is more: vaeth employs it to express his passion for the whole scene, to tell about the adventures he has experienced traveling, about his love for his friends, his children, his girlfriend and particularly to his fans all around the world.
