returning to the plus 8 fold once more, paco osuna is one of spains finest electronic exports. having made a name for himself with a residency at amnesia over a decade ago, he hass since gone on to play places like watergate, fabric and movement festival, all the while holding down a residency for barcelonas club4 night at city hall. his experience in the studio goes way back, too, with releases on drumcode and minus as well as mindshake - the techno imprint he founded in 2005. the osuna sound has never strayed too far from the pulsing heart of the dancefloor - despite investigating everything from dark and fierce to stripped and raw techno - and thats the case once again on his four ep …
for the first album ever being released on ki we invited biodub, a producer/dj from the north of germany, who impressed us with his fusion of dub, techno, electronica and is a musician throughout. bringing in his experience as the drummer of instrumental band noetics and based on a minimalistic foundation, his tracks are playful in a microscopically way. in between deep bass lines and characteristic dub chords, various sounds coming from field recording sessions and sometimes also acoustic instruments, making this piece of music extremely warm and alive. biodub tries to transform visual impressions into his music. he finds most of these impressions in nature but sometimes also in machines or buildings in connection with their environment. the album is equally comfortable on the dance floor as in the living room. but you would rather enjoy his music on an open field in the nature than on your couch. the album will be released as a full 2 x12 inch lp, and cd in folded hardcover with photography, graphic and layout coming from ki s amélie kai and since it leaves so much space for interpretation, there will be a 12 inch-single with remixes of stereociti and koi.
argentinean disco delinquent toomy disco comes correct with his first ep for under the shade. static friction is a churning, plodding marauder, perfect for warming up the dancefloor. mario basanov picks up the pace flipping the track with plucky stabs and a tight beat whilst alphabet city draws out the track into a loopy hypnotic belter. finishing up with disco lights which wouldnt sound out of of place in giorgio moroder 80s film soundtrack
the unclear concept is to produce a special music, to combine genres like deep, techno and electronic, trying not have a precise musical genre but experimenting always new sounds.
yes, a deep and soulful release by the bittersuite crew. on this three tracker you will find the soulful groover life cycle, a great uplifting summer vibe with catchy bass line, chords and percussions. will def. move the deep house heads.on the flip you have the tracks blockhead and blueprint. blockhead with deep, deep pads and its distict bass line combined with a >in your face< banging kick drum, could be described as nothing less than a masterpiece. will def. be banging your system. the track blueprint is something for the late hours, on point peak time business. with a distinct groove to die for, nothing can go wrong with this bad boy

here comes the eighth release in the line, pressure cooked by christian wunsch. three slices of fine modern techno, but with strong roots on tradition. buried mistakes opens fire with clean drum programming and punchy beats. spacey arpeggios and subtle drones are the makings of this movie. on the flip side, complete surrender uses similar rhythm coordinates, clean percussion sounds programmed with extreme taste, constantly evolving until the strings come in, creating a sci-fi futuristic mood, perfect for techno travellers. inevitable war is the last piece slower tempo, intelligent drone work out, dark atmospheres lying on a single kick, growing to make a complex beat as the minutes go on. they call it deep techno out there. a departure from the hard edged sounds on behalf of a mental way of understanding techno.
the brilliantly monikered big strick - familial elder to omar s and responsible for the odd killer release on his younger cousins fxhe imprint - belatedly sates the appetite of record collectors keen to indulge in his recent album detroit heat with a six track selection of the choicest cuts spread across this twelve inch. seemingly drawing influence from a myriad of motor city influences, detroit heat impressively flits between murky deep house, tracky techno and hypnotic jack-tracks. like many of his contemporaries, strick is a sucker for cement mixer production - that distinctly detroitian sound where every beat, groove or bassline sounds like the master tapes have been marinated in grit. that trademark sound, alongside a solid selection of floor-friendly grooves, makes detroit heat an excellent addition to the motor city house canon. the rubbery spinal atmospherics of >under tone< and the tony coates vocally assisted jack of >maybe 1 day< are particular highlights!

pattern select aka milton jackson and show-b have gone well and truly back to the raw on this, their first collaborative work together and debut ep for delusions of grandeur. both producers have been busy on some top quality projects just recently with milton jackson remixing recloose for planet e and show b producing for robert owens on compost. the pair met at a party in munich, promptly fell in love, and soon enough pattern select was born. kicking off tale of the tape sees the pair go deep n dark on this low-slung groove where demonic laughter rides the driving hats and insesant crashes until the filtering arpeggiated synth line joins the fun. tale of the dub gives us a stripped back, dub-infused version which goes a little lighter on the craziness of the first version but without losing any of the deep, hypnotic funk.
after the great 12 inch by sirko mueller its time for the next adventure of our beloved goldwill boys on mojuba sublabel wandering. with their new record they teamed up with some vocal support by lazarusman from southafrica and deliver a conceptual work called >when we< where one mesmerizing main theme is taking three different approaches to stimulate all your musical senses. from serious rocking dancefloor action via deep relaxed house grooves to sparkling ambient sounds! enjoy the music!

cool, dark underground club monsters. being a top player in the music industry is not an easy task! but with 15years in the business and over 150 releases, 50+ remixes & 300+ compilation appearances the numbers of jeffs output speak for them self’s. jeff started creating music in 1994 and got hooked on it directly, but it took until 1998 before his first single was to come out on his own label maskros music. since that single he has released on labels like poker flat, night drive music, episode, treibstoff, kickin music, konvex konkav, plastic city, global underground, regular etc.
the beginning of a new era. founded in 2005 by thomas wendel aka don williams the beloved seminal imprint with cult status mojuba is facing the next level with the debut album kawasaki by stereociti from tokyo. when in 2005 the first sounds of mojuba were introduced to the world, people quickly realized that there is something very special going on different to the usual house or techno business … it was something more emotional, more personal, somewhat more deeply rooted! stereociti aka ken sumitani is truly one of japans finest when it comes to uncompromising underground dance music with heart & soul, whether it is the realm of deep house music or the darker moods of detroit techno. you can actually feel that his roots go far back into the early days of electronic club music but never lose sight of the history of soul, funk or dub. his debut kawasaki, named after his hometown, is delivering the quintessence of what is considered as the mojuba sound. being capable of such a musical sense, it was no wonder that the other mojuba family members nick solé, sven weisemann and oracy welcomed stereociti very warm. so if you are new to the world of mojuba, please tune in and enjoy the journey! kawasaki is a timeless piece of music, equipped with everything you need for an outstanding album experience. it will take you by the hand from the very first moments and will be there for you second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day until you let it go
altogether lost is a collaboration between the bristol based experimental techno duo emptyset and the detroit vocalist cornelius harris aka atlantis from underground resistance. inspired by an early 20th century poem of mystical heritage, the project marks the first ever joint production by these three major capitals of electronic music and is backed up by a very friendly and creative label partnership between emptysets label multiverse and clr from berlin/germany where both labels are going to release different versions of remixes of the original in a mutual promotion and release approach. clr started this series with the release of the stunning original and a slamming remix by chris liebing and now follows up with a ben klock remix and a very deep and atmospheric interpretation by ripperton.
after his last ep on stil vor talent in 2009, born-and-bread berliner sascha braemer is now back with three fresh tracks for the spring of 2011. in the meantime, his funky minimal jump-up tech-house has led him to release on labels as prolific as kindisch or dirtybird. things kick off with >belle<, a ferocious attack on your groove muscles and dancing bones. this tune glides as softly as the wings of an angel while shaking you around like a giant would a dwarf. the up-beat groove is based on a great cut-up vocal sample and some animating synthesizer stabs. sweet! then, >felicitous<, which is considerably slower than the previous two tracks. still, the vocal on this one and the deep electronic body come together perfectly to form a deep and dirty suckerpunch to your euphoria synapses. last up is >people< keeps the effected vocal approach and that really makes this tune. imagine a super deep bassline, some wonderfully syncopated hi-hat trickles and a constant groove to underline the power of the vocal. this track is club pop - so deep and yet so magic it will run shivers down your spine on the breakdown. sascha braemer seems to have put all his experience of peak-time club moments to early morning afterhour visions into his own transcript of signature sound. this is not be mistaken, this is simply on-point
ryo murakami, labelowner of panrecords releases a new 4 track ep that contains a remix of lunch of god by stereociti (mojuba /from tokyo) which has a deeply atmosphere. next track is very deep and has slowly beats its a very dub track from start to end. the last track has a synth phrase and some voice left to the head is impressive.
sa010 presents three uncompromising visions from xhin, go hiyama and donor. a1 is xhins aggressive return to wax on sa. >hepta< is a gnarling, snarling tale that erupts into acrid broken beat. this track comes from xhin s new studio sessions, and it anticipates the coming of his most ambitious project yet. b1, >tasu<, comes from a new addition to the sa fold, go hiyama. >tasu< is hard, industrial and dub-filled in precisely the right quantities. >tasu< is perfectly swung peak-time techno and a foretaste of the monad chapter that go hiyama is currently crafting. donors flipside, >lapse<, shares the deep atmosphere that permeated his monad ii and sampler series releases. while hi hats sneak into the foreground and the background is punctuated by murmuring vocals, lapse gathers velocity around the weight of its bassline.
they may have grown up in different generations on different sides of the atlantic, but one thing detroit master delano smith and irish up and comer gavin herlihy share in common is a disregard for boundaries. deftly slipping between the definitions of house and techno, both have carved names for themselves by ignoring the laylines of either genre to imprint their own inimitable stamp on dance music. on krypton factor the pair link talents to deliver an ep that is typically irreverent of trends or genres.
maria colors celebrates the start of the new vinyl label with an excellent release of the duo taron-trekka who have already gained an impressive following with their records on freude am tanzen and brut!. for maria colors the two are bringing out their deepest deep house: >r.gelb< fuses heavy, powerful basses with an exciting composition while >handson< comes up with a detailed kind of deepness without ignoring stringency. two bombs which were virtually yearning to be released on vinyl.

patrick lindsey is no new comer . active in the techno world since more than a decade , releasing music on labels like terminal m , kanzleramt , kling klong , sci_tec to name a few . so when davide squillace and luca bacchetti received a demo from the german producer , they were really impatient to open the zip file and discover what was inside . the two discovered a four track ep full of analogue synths , organic beats and grooooove . so here is hideout ninth reference : get up and bounce ep by patrick lindsey . it all starts with > what i remember < a very strong anthem with a disco funk loop background and deep vocals by k. mason. the title track > get up and bounce < is next with its hypnotic >get up< voice snipet on top of a shuffled semi acoustic groove full of cow bells and snare drums. third track of the ep is named lockruf , evolving from a jazz sample thru vocal snipets , crazy drum rolls and saxo hooks. the last track of the ep is schleifkraft where a straight to the point chicago groove is topped with some more vocals , a very bouncy bass line and analogue synth sounds . a new reference in the hideout catalogue , four new techno tracks soon to become classics !
nice price deal !!! is it possible... we have returned to one of our favorite vocal projects from the label that was released earlier this year from steal vybe and the timeless vocals of alexis simmons. it was time to give >is it possible< some remix treatment and we called on our good freind rocco to lay down his deep vibes and we think it was a match made in heaven. we will let the music speak for itself. play this record loud!
>dysfunction<, hannulelauris first ep on i m a cliche goes beyond the dreamy, cosmic atmosphere of their previous releases and remixes on other eurodisco labels. the duos new sound still sends us floating but with an edgier, more toxic ride. hannu and lauri aka hannulelauri created a track for i m a cliche, a remix of botoxs hit >blue steel<. this track inspired the label to make more room for the finnish duo and bring their new music into its discography.
these two have been active figures in helsinkis club scene for quite a while, producing music together since 2006. when they crossed the borders of finland, the name of the band was pretty hard to retain but it didnt take long for all the bigwigs of modern disco to memorize it. two originals and a selection of remixes: >dysfunction< steps into the territory of deep melodic house with a classic resonance >box of box< throws around some fun rough beats toby tobias remix of dysfunction is iced with elegance and soulfulness. populettes remix of >box of box< is the new best friend of house dancers.
just in time for the beginning of a vivacious summer, foliage records are ecstatic to present the long awaited full package of the already globally revered and anticipated summer breeze. the remixes from raw artistic soul encapsulated the euphoria of summer within south africa. undeniably bold yet gently assertive, summer breeze was a phenomenon, an unquestionable statement of the nations love for pure and deep house, a statement which foliage records joyfully respond to with the full release of summer breeze.
composite records is back with the second ep by tiago fragateiro. the original is a deep, solid and floating song with warm keys and, of course, the lovely voice of tracey k. than you will find two killer dub remixes by alain ho and jay shepheard, first one, a deeper and sexy journey with a massive bassline and groovy synth! on the other hand, jays takes you straight to the point, into a hypnotic state of mind, again with a powerful bassline.
have fun with it and dont forget to handle them with care...
andre lodemann is being heralded by many as a leading light in deep house, with a solid back catalogue taking in labels such as simple, moods & grooves, best works and room with a view.
savor musics second 12 inch release follows a rockin record by papol and ekkohaus. we are proud to present today some raw future classics that will quite simply tear the floor into pieces. lucas mari is a hard to catch butterfly that spreads his subtle wings on few carefully selected projects. a resident of the city of rosario in argentina, lucas mari appeared occasionally on the very fine argentine label greener, german imprint stock 5 and on us labels adjunct and airdrop. in true early 90s chicago fashion, the two original cuts feature some serious drum machine action, building a sturdy way to allow for some exquisite chord relief to flourish. gez varley, absolutely stunned by listening to the originals, decided to contribute to the release with a simple and hypnotic remix that only he, the one and only g-man has the recipe for.
support from cocoon juggernaut sven vath to mobilees multi-skilling deep tech lass maya jane coles as well as seth troxler and luciano. the youandme rmx is their best to date! pick your favorite
transmissions sends us four intercepted signals from the mothership hovering over the motor city primed for the peak-time dancefloor that range from outer space techno trips to alien hip-shaking deep house. theres no fads here and no so-hip move faking, just quality in its purest form, and that alone can seem alien back on earth in these times…
backchat titled ep is filled with three tracks, all spiked with steady beats, funk, deep melodic chords and an overall glamour house feel. this is not only very well produced electronic music, its also a journey through deepness and a modern take on the soulful side of the electronic music which exceeds the genre by far with a rich, colourful palette of surprising, individual sounds, butter-smooth chords, some of the most raunchiest bassline that you ll ever hear outside of drum n bass, cleverly constructed beat patterns that yet never fail to jack and swing and an understanding of dub that goes far beyond the random use of echo and effects. on vinyl – as we like our little record-shop around the corner.
supported by luciano, claude vonstroke, alexi delano, ekkohaus, shinedoe, estroe. once more, a newcomer is going to be introduced on this tonkind release. its samuel fach, better known as laufmasche, who mainly was producing and remixing for the techno genre, is now getting more into a fresh-funky house sound. the change of residence from the mid-german student city giesen to the pulsating captile berlin, suppose to give him a fresh creative spring time. simple pleasure becomes his new calling card on this new project. this up-coming tracks are one after the other an absolute ear catcher and gives you an easy access to this open but already significant individuel sound. with an special touch and in a simple way, samuel fach combines soulful keys and lead sounds with an classic repetitive house-beat, without sounding mainstream or retro. he mediates a feeling of freshness and warmth, either with peak time runners like murter or discore or the expanding smotha work on the show and simple pleasure. all tracks, you will hear instantly, are coming from the same citchen, where a young and creative chef is cooking amazing stuff with very special flavour. one thing for sure... more choices of samuels menus will succeed.
>positivenoise< is collaboration between system 7 and british house music legend a guy called gerald who now lives in berlin, and is one of two tracks on the new system 7 >up< album that they worked on together. the original club mixs exuberant sounds and crisp beats exude an infectious feel-good quality and a bright tech confidence inspired by berlins leaner sounds - already gaining plaudits and plays for its modern club sound. the carl craig remix strips down the original, and twists and turns for the dancefloor with dubby deep techno in carls own legendary style. a.mochis remix is a darker interpretation, with a long dropdown featuring shimmering s7 trademark sounds and a breakbeat build-up.
4 raw deep acid tracks. its moony: the first track is a tb-303 monster which shows us the way to the acid moon, the ritual makes us crazy while the moon beats are moving our feets (thanks to the tr-707). the moon signals makes us moving into space, we are on another level. we land on the moon and take a walk. its a poem and its acid … limited to 303 vinyl
mr beatnick has played an active part in the burgeoning uk beats scene which has produced talents like bullion and paul white. his best known track >i know all the bitches< featuring the vocal talents of ahu, became one of the anthems of this movement, thanks to numerous spins on the likes of bbc radio 1 and rinse fm. in his music you can hear the influence of whole generations of music from mantronix to the 90s bay area scene and beyond, and the new ep >synthetes< takes this approach up a gear, exploring a path between the crackling breaks and samples of old, and the dancefloor music of now. with early support from braiden (rinse fm), slackkk (numbers), bullion (young turks), mosca (nightslugs / fat city) and gilles peterson (bbc radio 1), the >synthetes ep< looks set to find a unique place in the record boxes of bass addicts and beat diggers alike this summer.
