remixes by ada and jarle brathen info text richard davis is a gentleman with a proper musical history moving from london to berlin in the late 90s and having some spectacular releases under his belt as a producer, composer and a singer. as a vocalist richard has collaborated with, among others, swayzak, trentemöller and bomb the bass. on his new ep safety net he is turning his composing skills back to the future and his voice and songs are sounding quite like post new wave meets 1980s scott walker. alongside with fantastic remixes by hamburgs one and only ada as well as norwegian berlin dude jarle bröthen this massive ep is a masterful piece of modern pop music.

already huge support by ricardo villalobos and rhadoo. more than 36 min playtime, amazing full cover and 180g pressing. pure class from the other side and maher daniels new imprint. for the second release the other side drops the second single from mahers forth coming album feelings from the other side. sistema de revolucion is a roller coaster ride taking you through different points of the 18 minute nobel prize winning speech from gabriel garcia marquez on the solitude of latin america. heavy basslines, thick percussive drums move this record perfectly through the dance floor setting the write tone and groove. taking it home on remix duties is heavy hitting romanian ada kaleh, his 18 minute reconstruction of the original is truly mesmerizing and really tells a story throughout the whole ride. crisp percussion, throbbing low end, and a punchy kick which lays you flat on your back.

third gost instrument is made by prolific, yet unknown producer rodion stankevich. more than 10 years he was developing his production skills with passion for analog reel to reel techno. here comes his first vinyl ep, where you can find 3 killer tracks - detroit inspired “ada” on the a side, deep & trippy “21 gm” on the b and beautiful mellow composition “speed of comprehension” finishes this release.

horatio and javi green met in ibiza and decided to summon their production skills in order to produce something really groundbreaking. horatio & javi did a superb job by fusing together the much hyped romanian techno with some spanish soul flavoured. on the remix duties is the one guy who is truly on the roll right now: ada kaleh .
