fockewulf 190 was a new wave group from milan formed in 1980 by vittorio barozzi aka victor life and dario dell aere. in 1979 the duo met outside a cinema and began a lifelong collaboration of projects: diamond dogs, ice eyes, demode boulevard and fockewulf 190, named after the model jet planes dario fanatically built. musically, the duo were inspired by the human leagues reproduction and john foxxs metamatic, while they took visual cues from the new romantics visage and ultravox. with the fockewulf 190 moniker, they created their own dark blend of italo disco and new wave, and released two singles in 1984 and recorded an album?s worth of music that eventually saw the light of day in 2010.

aux88 bass magnetic re-issue 1993-2018. back by popular demand, the same unique spirits that brought forth the sound of detroit streets and turned it into the futuristic soundscape known as techno-bass , the original members have collaborated to re-issue their catalog 25+ years later. starting with their 1st double pack lp, bass magnetic (considered to be a mesh of influences between miami bass and detroit techno), aux88 established themselves in an effort to stay true to their roots in the streets and the clubs creating their own genre into a global dance culture. after the release and production of their own documentary ( aux88-portrait of an electronic band ), the group celebrates its now classic recordings. harkening back to its first days on cassette tape to revive a future generation of vinyl aficionados. aux88 s bass magnetic = classic detroit electro.

red laser conductor general il bosco once again turns his beam on 8 tracks of mind melding italo. providing a another superb double vinyl release of tracks that have been inspirational to red laser records and the labels releases. this isn t by any means your run of the mill italo selection. il bosco knowingly selects a set that shows the true girth of style and fashion in the genre. face grillers are ramped up next to sleazy pop sensibilities. goth-synth disco frottages with 8-bit machine gun bass lines. chugger masterpieces salivate on crystalline new romantics. as the compiler says truth is, loads of italo is shite but when its good it s up there with the best electronic disco music you will ever hear check this album and you ll agree. for maximum disco potential several red laser protagonists have suitably revamped and edited some of the selections with kid machine & il bosco uniting in the cut, flemming dalum sprinkling his magic dust over a bonafide classic & parisian romain bezzina repairing an old banger. as always red laser pay close attention to detail with all tracks carefully restored & remastered whilst the vinyl comes in full colour heavy card inners with two riso print poster sleeves & a gatefold pvc cover. limited to 500 & no repress !
