fresh water is the debut work by london based musician and visual artist, jake marshall. across eight tracks marshall twirls and bends his sound palette around motifs of emergency and crisis, “i was interested in distress sounds, sirens, flares etc”. the many sonic limitations in fresh water demonstrate marshall’s uniqueness. all kinds of plastic, caustic sounds, german ambulance sirens, bleeps rattling off unknown morse code, the highly synthetic strings emerging from the silence, it creates a somehow organic yet inhumane, but addictive turbulence.

we have a great collaboration album from unam zetineb and soolee distributed each original tracks and remixes. interpolate is produced by spanish techno producer unam zetineb which has chocking bass energy and gentle but harsh beats. another track tense is produced soolee, label head from south korea. it has highly tensed electric loops with pounding drum. each remixes are also showing different color of original mixes.

das ikonische belgische dj-duo 2manydjs, bestehend aus den brüder stephen und david dewaele, feiert das 20-jährige jubiläum ihres albums as heard on radio soulwax pt. 2 mit einer besonderen re-issue. 2002 erschien es ursprünglich nach einer reihe von radioshows der beiden brüder, damals vor allem bekannt als die köpfe hinter der electronic/indie-rock band soulwax. die re-issue erscheint mit dem foto von richard young auf dem cover, das ursprünglich als cover vorgesehen, aber nach rechtsstreitigkeiten mit tipp-ex verfremdet wurde.
