recorded in the winter/spring of 2009, first released in june 2009. at the time i called it my failed kompakt techno experiment, i started out with that minimal beat in mind but ended with something different. the title was the first thing i started with after watching some miss helen mirror on tv at the period, still love the title really. songs became longer and i discovered the delay while recording. this second record was the first one were i started settling on an sound of my own. some weeks after recording the screaming girls on the last track during their sunday afternoon youth group activity a baby fetus was found on their field with the mother being one of the girls

one off is a 10 inch coloured vinyl series for amp-art artists to release a one off track anonymously, under no name. this means anything goes and the only identification will be a number. future releases on the label will come from linkwood and cottam so that gives you an indiction of the kind of quality we have here. first up on the one off series we have an unnamed but acclaimed producer who delivers this stunning piece of electronic funk.
