the next entry for the fof? label sees meadow taking the healm. meadows remix of previous release, >kheema<, takes the dubby-ness of the original to new heights and ratchets up the intensity with an undulating warming pad that laps over the senses whilst elements of the original tease in the back ground. >the cheese< takes the ep in an alternative direction, stepping over into dub step territory with oh so deep bass stabs underpinning the skankin percussion with traditional dub elements sparkling in the foreground. rounding of the ep is >6 steps<, a musically crafted slice of deep house for the afterparty complete with hazy melodies.
mathematics label presents a new series based on a slower, seductive side of house music. three slow dance compositions and electronic love songs in recall tomita, art of noise, paul hardcastle, and franck roger. tracks by mayo souloman, the exaltics and florin buchel. intriguing and unique.

a1) new love - this elevating new track is deep, funky and sexy. the beat is ever growing, the bass never ending. disco mixes with deep winking and eye to electro. b1) low down - sounds like a completely different atmosphere. still funky, its the perfect tune for a poolside party in la as the sun is going down... smart, sexy ladies get the party started moving to this disco house dance tune. b2) dont stop is the natural conclusion to this 12inch. we re at the break of dawn when this drops, as the sun is rising. slow bpms and vocal intermissions for those whose feet still want to move to the groove.
dualism are kwamina and gab from zurich. they produce music since 2005 and had their debut release on pheeks label archipel >dualism speech defect ep< in 2006.
today their sound appears minimally as twisted, queer-melodic deep and wicked techno with much love to the detail. their sound surprises with unconventional rhythm-structures and many-layered sound-design. their distinctive style and preference for idiosyncratically and broken sounds as well as the clever use of vocal snippets is always present on their productions.
the name-giving track of this ep is remixed by dapayk and also by estroe.

stealing thunder so you move that ass, the duo dubbed thunderheist unleashes serious electrocrunk boom bap. ribcage-rattling bass breaks laced with proper rhyming are flipped with digital booty bass, 80s-inspired electronic pop and slowed down southern bounce, all fresh-dipped in serious swagger. mc and singer isis and producer grahmzilla know how to bring it. and once they ve brought it, it stays brung. >torontos shit-hot electro duo< (nme.com) are already a huge online phenomenon, but this first full taste of their forthcoming album comes courtesy of nasty mix records in canada. catchy, propulsive, ecstatic and uncompromising, it s party music of the highest order, utterly unique but sounding like its been in your head all along.

credited with some of the biggest tunes and remixes of our time, mr g returns to the detroit based moods & grooves label. while best known as a techno producer, mr gs relationship with m&g allows him to show his diverse musical tastes and offer something for the house and techno dj. one for the head û low slung reminiscent of a 12 minute theo parrish production with a extended buildup and teasers throughout. one for body û activator a nice blend of techno and twisted funk
pedro delgardo said >bosnias very own legend dj mika is up here with 2 very very exciting tracks of full on grooving bass techno in true phat mika style. burnout and zion both hit the spot, shit loads of percussion and quick drop edit breaks. dj mika is one of the techno geezers to keep your eye on for sure!. both these tracks are currently being played out by me and are more than special top marks for patterns on this one. 5/5<
sweet 16 is a perfectly judged slice of disco punk, producer grahmzilla hooking up a beat which sounds like the clash hanging out at studio 54 while isis tells of the joys and dangers of being sixteen and ruling the dancefloor. its not clear whether the natural stage genius (time out) is encouraging under age sex, cautioning against it or just suggesting engaging in some healthy exhibitionism. whatever the message she makes it sound great. cruise low is as low slung and bass heavy as you d expect from the title, isis whispering about popping the trunk with a mixture of enticement and threat. bonus track whateveruneed is an epic instrumental electro symphony from grahmzillas hard drive. ny mover and shaker eli escobar rounds out the package with a mix of sweet 16 which harks all the way back to planet rock...

cool disco 3 tracker from top shelf done by phoreski (bare fist, fat fuk). the slow barelow has a sorta sleazy italo disco feel while on the flip elotric is a more uptempo frantic disco cut and monk fonk is a slow and steady bass heavy acid tinged groover. must have for idjut boys fans
