following on from mr.cs stand up single & full length incidents album comes the second single from his album entitled ripple effect, which comes with 3 stunning remixes. the single kicks off with marc houle s remix & in typical marc houle fashion is a wonderful slice of electronic techno in which a funky bass-line, tight rubber beats & atmospheric effects work around the original 303 acid line. next noel jackson ups the tempo, reworks the bass-line, the pads & effects of the original into a real detroit workout that s an immediate dancefloor winner. lastly on the flip side chloe again uses the original parts to perfect affect to take her mix deeper. the bass-line has the most infectious bounce, which makes this remix perfect for either late night heads down darkness or peak time action. this single once again demonstrates why both mr.c & superfreq are creating tsunamis in the clubs right now
oh so coy presents its 3rd & 4th vinyl outings respectively courtesy of german resident marc heun. quality production encapsulates all eight tracks that move effortlessly from deep to discofied house. disc 1 takes a slightly experimental edge with some great sampling work and raw beats. disc 2 has a more summery feel with breezy disco house edits and filtered vocal twists.
re-release on clear vinyl at a nice price ! superb varied techno release printed old skool warp style jacket 5 tracks by us producer d marc cantu between house (jack style), techno and acid. floorfillers guaranteed !!
d’marc cantu’s second release on drone is an introspective, emotive piece of electro. with it’s deep pads, ‘omega red’ provides the soundtrack to a trek through the snowy wastes, never letting up and calling through the night. dreaming of a world beyond our own on a journey without end, waking to find fragments of that world still holding on.
as the world collapses, dragging its unwilling inhabitants into insanity, a few things, fortunately, remain true. the man who s contributed to the development of the jak sound on behalf of the nation community from lake michigan to the dutch west coast, where he became well known for several eps released on creme organization records, is back. after two full-length albums, dozens of eps and action in the 2am/fm project, dmc has gained well-earned respect as an underground artist. we are very pleased to bring this little return to the jak beat style.
marc romboy presents his upcoming album voyage de la planete his first solo full-length production in over eight years. released on his newly launched hyperharmonic label, voyage de la plantète signifies an exciting new chapter for marc as he experiments with his sound - pushing the boundaries between classical and electronic music to create both an emotional and atmospheric experience. the first impression of this new sound can be heard on this 10inch, the album opener monde futuristewhich blends together beautiful strings and soft flittering synths. while „monde futuriste“ merges the beauty of the violine played by miki kekenj and electronic arrangments, „voyage de la planète“ mixes the two mediums together with fluttering synths and a somber string quartet. inspired by a concert with the dortmund philharmonic orchestra where he performed claude debussy works in a contemporary way, this 10inch and the album signify the start of a new chapter for marc romboy. combining the strange, fascinating sounds of electronic music with the sublime beauty of classical music to create an extraordinary sonic experience for the listener.
marc antona has been always in the pursuit of new expressions within music as he has continually demonstrated with his work. following the jazz-infused adventures of the rattle snaps ep, he finally returns to his own turf to lay down another crucial exploration of beat science. hanging gardens is a masterclass in immersive programming, fusing the natural feel of live drums with crisp electronic tones that hover in a spacious mix. its the perfect angle at which to appreciate the subtlety of sound design that goes into every inch of marc antonas productions, teasing elements in and out of the mix so gracefully, its hard to tell where the joints are. the haunting touches of chords and lingering pad are deployed with poise, the intricate percussion progressively rising and falling throughout to create a truly immersive sonic journey. where the a side deals with angular rhythms and a shape-shifting atmosphere, unrestricted takes the sound palette of organic and electronic elements and feeds them into a rolling, technominded focus. the tribal thrum of the beat fills out an in-the room-ambience while the psychoactive synth flurries speak out the pulse of the machines. its a combination that makes unrestricted as intimate as it is exotic. in combining these disparate feelings within his tracks, antona once again brings a human feel to the technology, pushing the music into exciting new realms in the process.
barcelona based yakazi imprint proudly reaches its fifth installment in the form of a synergic collaborative release signed by chilean artists alexi delano and marcelo rosselot, counting also with canadian buchla wizard marc houle in the role of never-failing remixer. presented as a two sided release, and splitted in two original tracks plus marc houles remix, yakazi maintains its unwavering commitment to their core values, to move people through good music, prevailing fads and trends and strengthening the labels very own sonic identity. on this occasion, alexi delano, a close relative to the label that was also featured on label’s previous compilation, joins forces with his studio fellow marcelo rosselot building up “take me / it’s on me-, two finely-crafted excursions of heavy bass minimalism and dark vivacious techno based on subtle vocal samples, trippy synth-chords, and layered drum patterns constantly evolving throughout both progressions sounding uniformly fantastic, without falling into the obviousness of a long steady beat narrative and keeping in mind how to charm the dancefloor in style.
love notes from brooklyn offers up this platter from a very exciting new brooklyn artist, subtenant. as it says on the tin, the artisanal acid ep is heavy on the 303 squelches and emotional content. each track has a unique pairing of soul and heavy acid funk. evergeen soul is the clear lead track here, using a female snippet to keep this otherwise tough little number dancefloor friendly. this track is then reworked by detroit underground darling, d marc cantu, who pitches things up into funky rave territory. the flip side sees the title track feature the most soulful chords on the entire record, and then on the b2 the artist himself takes to the mic on know how it feels. this whole ep feels live and direct from the brooklyn underground.
the adventure continues with our second understate:ment brought to you by frankfurt boys, marc philipp & nils weimann with a reshape made by sebastian werle from mannheim, germany.
drivetrain (detroit, usa) – “twisted samba”…derrick thompson blends a 3 dimensional latin inspired cocktail of african percussion with a collaboration of velvety vocals. dj sinjin (toledo, usa) – “a midnight summers drive”…driven by an infectious bass groove, the elegant chord progression develops an animated late night stimulant. marc cotterell (bude, uk) – “love is the message (feat. claudia)”…the gravitational pull of bass repetition plus steamy sax and irresistible spoken persuasion equals pure dance intensity. droyd paxtone (bari, italy) – “mephala”…submerged and techy, a debut filling the atmosphere with moody pads and incessant bass rhythm, rooted in intelligence. cherrylux: sweet and juicy, deep and deluxe
boiler ep sees the boy from düsseldorf deliver four thumping minimal-tech-tracks, with powerful basslines, catchy sounds and a superstylin groove, supereffective for the dancefloor. four different tracks, four times 110% marc faenger quality. focussing on nowhere else but the dancefloor and designed for no one else but the skilled selector, all tracks act as timeless calls to action for all groove aficionados… and suggest yet another exciting release for cellaa music enjoy!!!!
marc romboy is back on tronic, and we have two remixes of his classic the overture. for remix duties we enlisted techno originator and legend joey beltram, as well as frances deep house genius rodriguez jr. the outcome is as expected. mr beltram changes the original to a peak time slice of moody techno, whereas rodriguez jr. goes the more melodic route using a beautiful arpeggio. we are very happy with this release and hope you will be as well! dj support: adam beyer christian smith james zabiela sasha edu imbernon technasia noir joel mull nicole moudaber pig & dan (igor) danny tenaglia thomas schumacher (get physical / noir / snatch!) dosem filterheadz hernan cattaneo

with a string of successful releases under his belt, both on his own label crossfrontier audio , as well as sudbeat, last night on earth, freerange, and get physical to name a few, the message behind 35 is simple: an album showcasing the different moods and moments of a club night, where warm up tracks tease and build toward pumping peak time floor fillers, holding for a while before gently easing into after hour delights.

zone 4 was the first project that i created as a whole idea, the creation of zone 4 started around the time that the final track selection to a new world was taking shape. it sat for a number of years, shelved till the day that i found a label that would honor it the way i had envisioned.
