die a-seite wird von zwei künstlern aus einem unserer lieblingskollektive, de lichting, bestritten. mit „a reflection“ öffnet sich rds und präsentiert ein wunderschönes house-juwel, das einen sanften und introspektiven, aber dennoch groovigen „augen zu“-tanz ermöglicht. nathan kofi übernimmt die a2 mit seinem einzigartigen deep-house-sound, indem er süße und cineastische synthesizer-sounds über ein afro-induziertes drum-sequencing legt und so eine warme klanghülle schafft. auf der b-seite mischt james free acid-synthesizer, röhrende basslinien und breaks zu einem progressiven und subtil melodischen dancefloor-track, der einen förmlich auslöst. mit dem letzten track der platte bietet mata disk aus rotterdam ein glühendes licht über polyrhythmen und sehr elektronischen geräuschen und bietet diesem werk einen verdienten strahlenden abschluss.
